PITMAN Freshman pitcher James Milward made his first varsity start for the Pitman baseball team on Saturday afternoon in the championship game of the Joe Lang Classic. Milward, just 14 years old, displayed the poise of an upperclassman as he allowed just one earned run over six innings during a 4-1 loss to Cherry Hill West. Comment?

One, if not the most anticipated tournaments in South Jersey will take place this weekend at Hammonton High School when the 16-team Hammonton Invitational Tournament gets underway. Opening round games begin Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and the final is at 3 p.m. Sunday. Comment?
