    'Dogs, 'Riders tie again

    After playing to scoreless draws the previous two regular season meetings, Celina and St. Marys met in a key Western Buckeye League boys soccer match at Roughrider Field Thursday night. For the first 71 1/2 minutes of the game, the teams looked ready to play a third straight scoreless tie in the Grand Lake rivalry, only to have St. Marys' Zac Nelson score with 8:10 left to play.

    Delphos FFA member Kylie Fritz garnered Reserve Champion honors at the recent Allen County Fair Carcass show. Animals are graded on foot at the fair and then division champions and overalls are entered into the Allen County Carcass show sponsored by Kewpee in cooperation with the Allen County Fair Board and OSU extension.

    Wildcats shut down 'Riders

    For the second time in four days, the Minster Wildcats volleyball team hit the road to tangle with a Western Buckeye League foe. The Wildcats tackled the St. Marys Roughriders last evening at Murotech Gymnasium and notched a 31-29, 25-14, and 25-20 victory.

    Quick start propels Bulldogs past Wildcats

    The Celina football team improved to 2-0 and 1-0 in the Western Buckeye League play with a 34-0 win over Bath Friday night at Celina Stadium. Bulldog running back Garett Winget ran 12 times for 151 and a touchdown, quarterback Caleb Hoyng passed for 98 yards and ran for a two scores, as Celina ran its lead to 27-0 going into halftime and flipped on cruise control in the second half.

    NetDogs rebound to shut out Roughriders

    The Celina girls tennis team rebounded from a tough loss to undefeated Western Buckeye League leader Wapakoneta on Tuesday to shut out cross-lake rival St. Marys 5-0 Thursday afternoon at the Booster Club Tennis Complex. "This was a nice win.
