    On a perfect Saturday for tennis in Northeast Ohio, Adam Krueger of Bay played a nearly perfect two sets in the Division II Canton District singles final and the Beachwood duo of Alex Machtay and Griffin Calleghin were also nearly perfect in the doubles final. Krueger rebounded from a 6-2 loss in the first set of his match against University School's David Buchinsky to play some of his best tennis of the weekend in a 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 victory to win the district title.

"I am so excited," beamed West Branch boys' track coach Tracy Wyatt, who announced she is retiring as the Warriors' coach at season's end.

"We absolutely had to fight for this," said Louisville head coach Tammy Kring.

    Trojans stun third-seed Heartland Christian

    Behind the strong arm of pitcher Josh Zmuda and huge blast by catcher Branton Alex, the Sebring Trojans upset the number three seed Heartland Christian 8-3 in an OHSAA Div IV Baseball Sectional Championship game Tuesday evening. Zmuda went the distance for the Trojans, allowing three runs and scattering four hits while striking out twelve batters in seven innings to earn the complete game victory.
