    A balanced attack and clock management were vital for an experienced Winthrop team, as the Vikings showed Division 1 Northeastern Conference foe Peabody how to shut a team down with a 21-7 win over the host Tanners last night. Peabody struck first when quarterback Mike Raymond tossed to running back Doug Santos, who then threw a strike to Ugonna Okanawa for a 22-yard score.
