    University's Paladino wins female McCoy Award

    The Hawks have produced athletes such as Amber Riley, who went on to run at Auburn, and Hallie Portner and Sarah Martinelli, who continued at WVU. University's Amelia Paladino excelled during her senior cross country and track seasons, and for her accomplishments, Paladino earned the 2014 female McCoy Award.

    The Buckhannon-Upshur High School swim team picked up a final combined team score victory over the Elkins Tigers Wednesday by a count of 138-116, in a Big 10 Conference clash at Davis & Elkins College.
