    A pair of big wins had the Brush Beetdiggers girls basketball team on track and near the top of the Patriot League conference. But the team knew entering the week they would be taking a step up in competition when they travelled to Valley High School for a matchup with the Vikings on the road.

    Taking a look back at 2014...

    After winning the 2A State Championship, Brush High School has eight players named to the first and second teams of the Colorado High School Activities Association All State team. In addition, Kyle Rosenbrock was named the 2A player of the year, while head coach Randy Dreitz was named the 2A coach of the year by CHSAA.

    Normally during the basketball season, teams are accustomed to playing at least on Tuesday and Friday nights. This past week for the Brush Beetdiggers boys basketball team, however, they only had one day of practice following their Tuesday game before returning to game action.
