Although this season's road was a bit rockier the outcome was the same as the Park Center girls basketball team beat a familiar foe in the title game to capture a state crown for the second year in a row. In a rematch of last year's epic triple overtime title game, Park Center was able to beat a very talented Marshall team 52-45 to take home the Class AAA crown. Comment?

The Cougars have been participants in the Class A tournament in eight of the past 10 seasons, and in that span, Ada-Borup finished out of the top four just once. That was last year, and the Cougars never forgot how lousy that felt. Comment?

When senior Jeremiah Hanson finished his prep career with 21 points in the Mustangs' 51-44 loss to Rushford-Peterson in the Class A championship game at Target Center, he made the last appearance for his family in boys basketball at the Brooklyn Park private school. "We'll keep building like we have,'' said Mustangs coach Jeffrey Wall, who has coached a Hanson brother for each of the past 16 seasons. Comment?
