    The opportunity of a rare 3-peat is on the table for Bunnell, which topped Kolbe Cathedral 68-64 in last year's SWC finale, but its path to a third straight conference crown goes through a diverse group of challengers. The 2013-14 season saw several perennial powerhouse squads maintain a firm grasp at the top of the conference, though some vastly improved teams established themselves as worthy challengers.

    MLK Classic at Arena gets formal introduction

    Four state communities will be represented at Webster Bank Arena on Jan. 19, a day their boys basketball teams will come together to honor Martin Luther King Jr. The games should be all right, too. Dignitaries from the schools and the area formally introduced the Martin Luther King Classic at the Arena on Wednesday afternoon "I think it's great," Harding senior T.J. Killings said.
