    High School: Benedictine smokes Bacon County 47-0

    John Kennedy rushed for 108 yards and scored two touchdowns as Benedictine downed Bacon County 47-0 in a Region 2-AA game Friday night. Jacob Collins scored two touchdowns run runs of 15 and 7 yards, and Chance Jackson scored on runs of 5 and 9 yards.

    Westminster tries to keep momentum from Lovett win

    Marist hosts Lovett in latest edition of rising rivalry

Two of metro Atlanta's best private-school teams will get together as defending Class AA state champion Lovett goes on the road to take on Marist in a non-region battle at Hughes Spalding Stadium Friday at 7:30 p.m. While it will be only the third meeting between the two powerhouses, Lovett coach Mike Muschamp said it has the potential to develop into a rivalry.
