    15 Braves Advance to State Track Sectionals

    Nine girls and six boys from the Braves' varsity track teams will be competing at the GHSA Class AA Track and Field Sectionals in Fitzgerald on May 2 after claiming spots at the Region 5-AA Track finals held at HCMS earlier this week. Erica Emory led the way for the girls with two region championships in the long jump and the triple jump and a second place in the 100M dash.

    State champs and region runners-up represent Bethleh...

    Bethlehem's golf finished second in GISA 1-AAA last week in order to advance to the state tournament this week. Tyler Legg was the low scorer for BCA as he shot a 79, followed by Luke Peavy with an 80. Brandon Hinton was third for the Knights with an 84 while Cole Gower shot an 86. The state event will be Saturday, April 27 and will bring together several of the best golfers from around Georgia to compete for the GISA state championships.

    Deerfield-Windsor girls tennis team wins region title

    The Lady Knights, who claimed the region title last season and finished as the state runner-ups, had another strong showing.
