Springfield Local School District officials are establishing a group to review the possible implementation of drug testing for students at Springfield High School and Junior High School. The decision, announced by Superintendent Chuck Sincere at the April 21 Board of Education meeting, comes on the heels of a petition in favor of the testing with 600 signatures of parents, teachers, former students and others presented to the board that night by Laura Broyles and Kelli Chapman, residents and parents of students in the district.
