Coal Mine Pizza/Boca Raton

Much too pricey, much too arrogant. Food was not enjoyable while service was slow and rude. Will not ever try again.

The service was awful. My server actually said to us "are you done?"

During the apst 3-4 years a number of coal fired pizza places have opened in S. Florida. Take a ride to Delray Beach and try Carolina's Fired Coal Pizza & Pasta. This is probably the best pizza in S. Florida.

This PIZZA was served without finished cooking, the dough was raw!!
Drinks were short-shots. This place SUCKS. Service was the horrible.$65.00 for a pizza and 4 short shot drinks?

No sandwiches after 3pm....thats garbage! Pizza is marginal at best. Hungry Howies is better! IMO

Mellow Mushroom in Delray on Atlantic is the way to go. Excellent pizza, 50 beers on tap, killer crew of servers - totally layed back and relaxed.

Reasonable priced as well.

The pizza wasnt terrible, but the cockroaches running around on the floor were.

sandwiches are served all day as is the whole menu.Best of Boca 2008 thin crust pizza, palm beach illustrated A-list best pizza for coal mine pizza.

i agree mellow mushroom is very good, but this is for coal mine pizza.

There were cockroaches on the floor . Very nice to have the friggin owner call me a liar. I dont know about the health inspector , but you may want to try an exterminator Dooshbag!

I've tried Coal Mine Pizza, Anthony's Cole Fired and most every other pizza place down and around.

My comment should have said - in my experience, Mellow Mushroom is the way to go.

Sorry for not specifically mentioning that Cole Mine Pizza, was in my experience, not the way to go. I assumed that would have been implied.

As stated in prior comments - the food was just OK, was over priced and the service was slow and the staff seemed put out and annoyed to actually have to serve a customer.

Sorry again that my first comment was not Cole Mine specific enough for you steve.

Just did not see the point in repeating what had already been said, and thought I'd offer another alternative.

Mostly it is a bad idea to recommend any restaurant because if you happen to have a good meal the next visitor is just as likely to have a bad experience. What's so wrong with learning how to cook? Do you think that only some greedy restaurant can cook the best food? Many people are far too dependent on someone else making them satisfied. I cook mostly for myself and I like it (a lot). Thanks.

Mellow Mushroom is the best pizza and pizza place in town. With all the beers and the whole ambiance, it can't be beat.
