The cards played so bad last night, I really think the Cubs could have beat them...

all kiddin aside, the cards have a better chance of gettin rained out than beatin the cubs, at least the odds are better.

If the Cardinals would have gotten the hits when they needed them and not left 11 guys on the basepaths, the "wrong pitcher" and Craig getting thrown out twice in 3 innings would have never have happened. Everybody blames the loss on LaRussa the other night. I prefer to put the blame on the shoulders of the players who failed miserably with all those runners in scoring position who couldn't get a hit or at least a flyball when they needed it most! All of us Cardinal fans sang our praises to our offense the other night with the 15 run outburst, so shouldn't we blame them when they score 2 runs with all the chances that Texas gave them the other night?

Well,i had to eat crow,pay my wife 50 bucks and sit through an hr of yaahoo on tv. But i'm still a cubs fan,Tony's gone,and Holliday,Berkman And pOOOHO"S ain't comin back ,soooooo GO CUBBIES,next year,YAAAAA HOOO.
