is christmas real I have read the Bible 3 times and am on 4th time I have never saw where it says to celebrate Jesus's Birthday if you know where it says to do that please tell me where it is. I do know it says not to decorate a tree Jeremiah 10:1-5. I also know we teach our children not to lie but they are told there is a santa clause when there is not one. I can not even find where it says when he was born I believe every word in the Bible if it is there I want to know where

christmas is a satantic custom and goes against christ as lord
christmas mocks jesus christ. Jeremiah 10th chapter is speaking
of the heathen custom of christmas which are an abomination to the lord.Israel is told not to celebrate christmas.....

Jeremiah
10:1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:

10:2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.

((10:1 and 10:2 is saying learn not the way of the heathen, which means the custom of christmas))

10:3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

(( 10:3 is the christmas tree, the man goes into the forrest and uses an axe to cut down the christmas tree, my father use to do the same thing, he would go into the woods with his axe and chop us down a big christmas tree.you couldn't always go to the store and buy a christmas tree you know))

10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.

(( in 10:4 here is the decorating of the christmas tree, they decorate it with silver and gold, just like now we in present day decorate the tree with silver and gold colored bulbs and silver ice sickles, then we see the tree fastened to the ground with hammer and nails so it moves not. today we use a christmas stand so that the tree moves not))

In another old testament chapter it talks about the tree, axe, decked with silver and gold and then it talks about the cake given that is decorated with fruits and nuts. This is the cake that is given on christmas called the fruit cake. if I could remember what chapter it was I would post the scripture, but I can not remember.

also christmas breaks the 10 commandments of god.

exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

(( on christmas in front yards are mangers with a plastic baby jesus laying in them, you were told not to make any graven image or likeness of anything in heaven. but come christmas there is a graven plastic jesus in everybody's front yard. with three wise man and by the way the bible never said their was three wise men, it just said that there was wise men, it never gave a number of how many wise men))

And here is more example of why christmas is against christ. jesus was never born on december 25th, it never says he is born on december 25th in the bible. next is santa clause who is a man in a red suit with magical powers that delivers presents. magic is evil according to the bible

exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.

1 samual 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

((Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.))

notice that sorcerers shall have their part in the lake of fire.
also if you rearrange the letters in the word santa it spells satan. and finally the word christmas starts with CHRIST.

I know it is a pagan holliday as all the rest of the holidays just type in whatever one you want to know about in any search bar and you will find they are all wrong and none have any Bible backing. so if it isn't in the Bible it isn't true and we should not do it
and it is a big money maker

So your rage is directed at those who celebrate Christmas, as well as those who choose not to wish you one, and you begrudge business profiting from the Holiday in any case.

Interesting....

Guess it's just your turn bud - what goes around comes around. Christians have been busy declaring 'war' on all other faiths for thousands of years.

no showelhead72 I am sorry that you think I have rage for anyone and especially Christains that is our main comand love one another I am just saying that I think we should do what God tells us to do and if it isn't in the Bible we shouldn't do it. also I do not begrudge anyone for what they do I only have to answer to God for what I do and every one else has to do the same I do not judge anyone because that is Gods job. I sure don't have a problem with the business's making money either that is how they make a living it don't have to be a holiday to go buy things or give gifts. just leave Jesus out of it you can't give him anything he already owns it all.

"Religion does not, and in the long run cannot, be content with its own marvelous claims and sublime assurances. It must seek to interfere with the lives of nonbelievers, or heretics, or adherents of other faiths. It may speak about the bliss of the next world, but it wants power in this one. This is only to be expected. It is, after all, wholly man-made. And it does not have the confidence in its own various preachings even to allow coexistence between different faiths.

Religion poisons everything."

Christopher may have his questions answered now.

"British-born author, literary critic and journalist Christopher Hitchens has died at the age of 62.

He died from pneumonia, a complication of the oesophageal cancer he had, at a Texas hospital."

Something tells me you secretly hope the answer is he is burning in Hell for thoughtfully declining to believe in God or religion.

Having been aware of this, I must also offer another Hitch gem:
"There can be no doubt that the cult of death and the insistence upon portents of the end proceed from a surreptitious desire to see it happen, and to put an end to the anxiety and doubt that always threaten the hold of faith. When the earthquake hits, or the tsunami inundates, or the twin towers ignite, you can see and hear the secret satisfaction of the faithful. Gleefully they strike up: "You see, this is what happens when you don't listen to us!" With an unctuous smile they offer a redemption that is not theirs to bestow and, when questioned, put on the menacing scowl that says, "Oh, so you reject our offer of paradise? Well, in that case we have quite another fate in store for you." Such love! Such care!"

You couldn't be more wrong. It is up to those who have traveled to the land of Two Fields or as some believe those whose light has simply been extinguished to know for sure. I don't believe in ghosts and have met someone from the 'other side' so I truly don't know. Merry Christmas and a Happy Holiday Season to you and your family.

In that case, I stand corrected. Certainty is a foolish claim in any event.

(The Celtic good wishes in my above post translate to "Merry Christmas to You and Yours," and were quite sincere.

Peace.

I'm going to answer your question, even though you've also dismissed my reply out of hand, and declined to respond to it, before I began to type.

I think we came from years and years of evolution - from primordial beginnings millions of years ago. I think this was PART of the 'Eternal Plan' of a creator, whose works are manifest in the perfection of the environment's composition, and that that same plan continues to this day and millions of years beyond it.

On the other hand, I believe that man's inability to comprehend the magnitude of the creation, and his innate fear of death, has led him to create religion. I don't believe the Bible was written by God, as I believe that information leading to acceptance of his existence is all around us - what would God need with a book, when his existence is palpable and present in and of itself? The Bible was written by men, for the purposes of men, and is not of the Creator at all. And religion has been responsible for untold numbers of deaths, perpetrated by its followers, and lauded as His will. I cannot conceive of a God who would need such sacrifice and defilement of his creation, in order to feel He was loved. It makes no sense to me.

This is not to say that you are wrong for believing in whatever way you choose - far from it. I support individual feelings and beliefs completely, and am gratified to see expressions of faith which do not entail, sanction, or otherwise condone preventing expression of other faiths. Live and let live, is my motto. So I won't harass you by asking what of the Biblical prohibitions against eating pork, wearing mixed fibers, or a host of others, you follow - it's none of my business how you practice your faith - as long as the practice of your faith does not infringe on the practice of mine, which is pretty much non-existent.

A final thought on this 'war on Christmas', which the Fox News network began to wage right around the time Clinton was leaving office:

http://sojo.net/blogs/2011/12/15/real-war-chr...

Peace.
