War on Christmas Debate - Eugene, OR

Well, yes and no. The War on Christmas not real other than the one waged by the greedy corporations, but the War on the family is. My family members have to work until 10:00pm on Christmas Eve...and back to work a 4:00am the morning after Christmas. THIS IS NUTS! No time for family at ALL! Really folks..we need to stop this corporate crap. There is more to life than the bottom line. Can ANYONE explain why someone would have to work at McDonald's ON THANKSGIVING From 1:00pm to 5PM?
If there is a War on Christmas...look no further than these Scrooge, greedy corporations! While we're at it...lets bring the concept of weekends back as well!

Do you honestly believe those "greedy corporations" would be open, if there wasn't a demand? Instead of throwing mud at businesses that provide jobs, why not direct your raging hormones at those that patronize them on holidays?

The War on Christmas is one of the stupidest fake stories the Right has ever come up with. How this is even a question is beyond me. White Christians have a majority of the privileges in the country, and they just want someone to feel sorry for them. Trying to be more inclusive of all people does not infringe on the rights of Christians. Just because something is not blatantly Christian does not mean it is anti-Christian. Get over yourselves and recognize the privileges you do have, and the opportunities and visibility that others do not.

Just because people can't openly celebrate Christmas everywhere at any time of day does not mean there is a war on Christmas.
