No one knows, more info to come. NOT a Racial issue like these people are saying.

Overzealous Zimmerman attacked without cause, was getting his ass handed to him and shot the boy. He never should have approached but he saw the color of Trayvon's skin.

A combination of so many issues. A faulty law, a man stereotyping everyone in his neighborhood, and poor policing for not going further to investigate the situation. However, Florida Law does not protect Mr. Zimmerman who was told clearly not to follow the boy. And where was Trayvons right to stand his ground, he had every right to SELF DEFEND against a man following him home! What a poor example of a justice system. This could have been any of our children.

It wasn't investigated properly because the police assumed this young black man assaulted Mr. Zimmerman because that's what he said. If the table was turned it would have been up to a jury. Honestly, a jury would probably convict him of nothing more than manslaughter, but as of yet, it hasn't been put in front of a jury. I think he targeted Trayvon, when Trayvon defended himself, he pulled a gun. The child screamed for help....he still shot him. That's murder.

I just do not understand why the shooter (whatever his name is) was not arrested? Come on if you shoot and kill someone and it is not one of these scenarios: 1. you are a cop 2. At war. you get arrested, you go to jail and you have a trial PERIOD.
I also do not understand how people in that neighborhood can live with themselves clearly hearing cries for help from this young man and still did nothing,they should be ashamed of themselves! Pray for Trayvon and his family. And please stop pulling out the racial card..........

Here is what really happened, the black kid was probably looking to break in to one of the apartments or homes in the area, he was so upset that he got caught, he slugged mr. zimmerman, and in that scuffle of mr. zimmerman and trayvon the boy was shot in self-defense, if zimmerman was the one killed then it would not even be an issue, but Black people are the most racist people walking the earth!

The simple fact to this case is, and why blacks are stereotyped, just watch ur local news, there is a murder every day, black on black violence drug related, etc. 75% or more are felons. It's not racial profiling, it's just the way it is.

At first I thought it was wrong of Zimmerman shooting the black boy but now that several witnesses have came forward and sai the boy attacked Zimmerman from behind, I think it was justifiable homicide. Case closed, go on with your lives, nothing to see here.

You are so right about that.Black people are the most racist race on the planet.Most of them feel that America as a whole,owes them something because of the past,and most of them stay resentful of Caucasians as if we had some say so to the race we were born. And beyond that,most of them blame every negative thing that happens in their life on the fact that they have slave heritage.Personally,I feel like I never owned a slave,therefore I shouldn't have to pay for one.Honestly,I never believed it when the Mormons preached to me that black people are in fact called the Lamenite people,and are cursed by God with their dark color.However,most colored people seem to believe it,so who knows? Anyway,I take offense in NO small way at the foolish whining that the Black Panthers are currently engaged in.As if the justice system is really sidestepping the opportunity to prosecute because the victim was black.The same system that allowed a black perpetrator to walk free when he bashed in the skull of a ninety pound white boy in the L.A. riots with a rock,and on film at that. Just curious partner.Do you suspect just a little bitty-bit that Zimmerman's neighbors would color their testimony on behalf of Zimmerman? Or does that seem like a total impossibility to you???
