The way Martin had to dig around in his pockets so long to get at the money to pay for his munchies is typical of someone trying to avoid pulling out the dope along with the cash in front of the store clerk. And the way he walked the wrong way first before remembering the right way out of the covenience store is typical of someone being very very stoned, as proven by the autopsy report of THC in his blood.

In the video of Martin buying his munchies at the convenience store, he digs in his pockets a long time at the checkout counter, typical of someone trying to keep from accidentally revealing the dope along with the cash to pay with to the store clerk. Then when Martin is leaving, he goes the wrong way before remembering the way out of the store, typical of someone being very very stoned.
