My thoughts are the Sanford Police Dept. investigated it and found GZ acted within the law because of the evidence collected and witness statements. The parents talked to the investigators and knew the facts of the case yet it turned into, well you see what it has turned into. So far nothing has been shown to prove this was 2nd degree murder but I will wait and see if anything else comes out showing that it was before I formulate my thoughts. Stand your ground laws allow law-abiding citizens to protect themselves and that would include deadly force if needed. When this is all over and the State DA either drops the charges or GZ is not convicted the State pays the bill which is going to be high because of the publicity it has received. The DA knew the facts of this case but had no choose but to file charges. The DA did not send it to a grand jury because if a grand jury looked at the evidence and listened to the witnesses they may not have come up with a true bill (conviction). No conviction……well we all know what would happen then. Out of all the crap that has come out over this I have seen nothing pointing at the root cause that will lead up to this. More kids nowadays do not accept authority very well because their parents do not enforce it. Often when a kid acts up in school most parents screams at the school. The kid sees they have their parents backing them up so they continue; they get older and pay the ultimate price in one form or the other. Parents failure to raise their kid to not act up, you decide.

.... He was told by the operator not to follow him that they had an officer on the way!!!! He followed him, why??? Come on listen to all the 911 calls , you can hear him begging for his life!!!!!!!! If George felt that threatened he would not have followed him , and try to be the neighbor watch hero. Also he called the cops 43 times of suspicious activities... He just needed attention and wanted to be a hero. He should be in jail for the rest of his life for his actions.
