One of the first words out of the man's mouth when he called 911 was that this guy was colored, he was wearing a hoodie and acting suspicious. Those two comments alone sounded racist to me. When the 911 operator told him they were sending patrol cars out to check the problem out, and he ask if he should followed the guy, the moment they told him no. There should have been no more action taken on his part, He broke the law at that moment, he should be charged for that alone. Then when he followed the boy, the very least he could have done, with him having a hugh advantage of holding a loaded gun in his hand is to ask this boy what he was doing. But since the boy was colored, wearing a hoodie, had his head down [listening to his i-pod] with one hand holding a pack of skittles and the other a bottle of tea. He fit the stero-typical light we have put on men of color. Face and the way our nation is dealing with it is part of what is destroying our country. We can not unite as long as we are seperated by racism. The man who shot him, killed him in cold blood. He should get the same sentence as any other cold blooded murderer. It's time racism was stopped, This is a good place to begin,

Speaking of Racism, until the investigation is completed and the true facts are revealed, it seems to me that all this jumping to conclusions is as Racist. Obama and Rev. Al just love to stir the shi- and will probably be proven wrong as in the harvard professor case.

The witness called the police and said Trayvon was attacking the man in the red sweater. If someone violently attacked me if i asked them a question about being in my neighborhood, looking out for the security of my area, I'd shoot them too.

The 911 caller told him not to follow Trayvon, the law would take it from there. He broke the law at that point. You could also hear the boys cries for help on another 911 call made by a neighbor.

Comment made by shooter when he called 911,"Guy is black and he has hoodie pulled over his head. Both hands in his pocket, he's acting strange, he must be on drugs or something." Tea and skittles?

My take is... the kid was in the neighborhood being a hoodlum.

The neighborhood watch... which was armed due to the crime in the area... was on the phone with 911 and following the hoodlum... the hoodlum got pissed off and started beating the shit out of the citizen... and the armed citizen shot the hoodlum in self defense.

Personally... I think the guy showed great restraint... he obviously was not out to shoot someone.

If he was just a vigilante... and following a hoodlum planning on killing him... he would have shot the dude when he was coming at him... and not waited until he was beating the shit out of him.

Case closed.

More of your Ill Informed BS, 911 operator has no force of Law, Dumbass. Trayvon just met the wrong guy, wasn't his lucky day. The witness have already said the calls for help came from Zimmerman, a Hispanic man.

when the gang of black youths beat the crap out of the white kid, was there any call for a hate crime? did the feds get involved in that case? NO!the police said the white kid just ended up in the wrong neighborhood. it was all caught on camera and played on the news. show me a white Hispanic. i've never seen one. the ones call the shooter a white Hispanic are the black leaders in society. if you are going to go all out for one child(no matter the skin color) then go all out for the other child. or in better terms-teenagers.

I don't buy at face value what the media and the race-hustlers are selling. Until the *FACTS* are known, it's only speculation. Shame on all those prematurely condemning either Zimmerman *OR* marin.

that the Martin kid had been suspended from school for 5 days? i wonder why...the school will not release his school records....also, Martin's own father said it WAS NOT treyvor screaming for help in the background of the 911 call that was placed. Mr. Zimmerman had injuries to his head and back when the cops arrived, suggesting he did, indeed, act in self defense. I was one of many who jumped to conclusions when the story first broke....i assumed zimmerman was guilty...but no more...im not saying zimmerman is innocent but we sill live in america and we are suppposed to assume he's innocent until proven guilty. Too bad there is a bounty on his head...

The law that gives a citizen the right to protect himself doesn't apply in this case. A man intentionally followed a teenage high school student at night, stopped the teen, and challenged him. That is murder, not self-defense or manslaughter. It was murder. On top of it is that the boy was unarmed.

Why don't they show recent pictures of the 17 year old? All pics look like he is 12 or younger.

Saved us all some money in the long run. At least we don't have to house the deceased in a prison for 5-10 years for the burglary that he was casing the neighborhood for. Glad that someone actually stands up for themselves. The shooter was acting in self defense. As a matter of fact, the parents of the hoodlum are suing the home owners association instead of the shooter because according to Florida law the shooter was in the right protecting himself!

It was a high school student walking home from a store. He was even on the school football team. But, to you, if he's black he's a drop-out gang member, right? Just kill any black kid walking down a sidewalk. Right?

He was legally carrying the gun... he legally defended himself.

He was cleared by a Grand Jury... that's not good enough for you?

A Jury of his peers looked into the case and thought his actions were justified.

They live in the area... they heard ALL the evidence and decided not to prosecute.

Do YOU live where this incident took place?

Have YOU heard ALL the evidence?

No?

Then what makes YOU think YOU know better and more about this case than the Grand Jury?

You think you have a better idea of what "justice" should be because of something you read online?

Because of something you saw on tv?

Because of something you read in the newspaper?

Or are you just following Obama's lead?

SO... you are going to lend more credibility to the Internet, or the media... or the President.

Knows liars and deceivers?

PERSONALLY... I'd rather trust the Grand Jury.

Look's like a little boy wanted to be a thug, he learned what being a thug brings. Maybe he should have been home, doing his homework. Obama and Rev. Al would love to start a racial war. Watch out, they're dangerous

Zimmerman had no reason to suspect this child was doing anything illegal and should have left him alone. He was told to leave this kid alone and the police would handle it. But this nuuty wanna be cop had to jump in, with no justification. When the authoritiesd
get through with this 911 callin, wanna be cop, he will wish he was never born. Sadly, a kid died for no reason, except some busy body wanna be cop fanatasy. Sad, but they will send him away for so long that others nuts like him will think before they kill another innocent person.
