The answer to that is one of the clues to the question of who caused the problem. How so? If the community had been plagued by black crime then the watch captain had every right, indeed responsibility, to check out suspicous people. And, since you mention NO-CONTACT. If Martin attacked Zimmerman from behind and if the Zimmerman injury proves accurate would you say that the contact came frist from Martin? Questions, questions and no answers. Facts will come out in the trial. Until then it would be wise to avoid judgement. Zimmerman's responsibilities was to abide by the law of the Neighborhood Watch Program, not take it upon himself to deal with it like an Officer. These rules and laws are to protect both parties. Zimmerman broke this by removing himself from his vehicle and approaching Trayvon. His actions do not support *Stand Your Ground* As far as the injuries on the back of his head, I think Trayvon felt threatened by Zimmerman and was going to do what he could to protect himself. Who's to say Zimmerman didn't pull his jacket back to reveal the 9.mm he was carrying? IF this be the case, Trayvon *Stood His Ground* You know as well as I do, most people with alittle authority will use it and bend the rules to get that ego rush they so desperately live for. Yes, the facts will come out in trial so it would be wise for you to quit passing judgement on blacks and practice what you preach. I respect your feelings and beliefs but I can disagree and speak out.

Violent crimes..population 53,570..rate per 1,000 is as follows, Theft 42.68%(2,286) Burglary 16.26%(871) Assaults 1.01%(21).....Now, Cape Girardeau's .... population 37,941..Theft 53.11%(2,011) Burglary 11.15%(423) Assaults 4.48%(170)...Now, Sanford, Fl has 15,629 more people in it's city but has much lower violent crimes than Cape. the percentage of blacks commiting these crimes in Sanford is said to be 33.6%...whites 32.1%...latinos 35.3% Enough said

I think arguing over the details is as pointless as Trayvon's parents exploiting his death as a national spectacle. Arguing over something as trivial as this would equate to what? A slap on the back in congratulations? You're free to speak your opinion, but don't try to throw facts that may, or may not, have anything at all to do with the matter at hand. Cape Girardeau, MO has a very low homicide rate, yet murder still happens. Sometimes it is just a random act of violence. As far as the ratio of different crimes being committed by separate races; in Sanford, FL, Hispanics may be the majority while African Americans and Caucasians are the minority. Which would sway the results to show that Hispanics commit more crime than others. Just saying.

I have to agree that Zimmerman failing to follow police instructions by following Trayvon would exempt him from the Stand Your Ground part of the law, however that is merely a portion of the self defense law of any state. The stand your ground act merely states in public places or your home you do not need to attempt to retreat at least one prior to using force when necessary. Just because he pursued Trayvon doesn't mean Zimmerman was the attacker, nor does it mean he will not be able to plead self defense, but it will make it harder for him to prove in court he was not the provocator. I respectfully believe that Zimmerman had every right to defend himself, if that is what he truly did. And one last thing, about the video where he didn't have blood on him. That was taken at the station after he had already seen the on sight paramedics and been cleaned up, so of course there won't be any blood on his face.
