Would Mr. Zimmerman feel it to be a threat if Mr. Trayvon was a white guy , wearing the same kind of attire in his lousy plastic neighborhood ?
Being a person of color myself i go through some experiences ,that i can not believe myself.
Racism is everywhere less in big Cities , more in provician Towns like Ithaca. Look at the way Ithaca City is divided? Those invisible lines..Truth is Downtown is what it is.
Why are some many Black males hanging out the whole day ? they seem to have no jobs no perspective on life. Would you hire a black person to work in your yard ,store , company, lol. I know the answer.
I have travelled to so many places , everywhere i go shopping i see all kinds of races and ethnicities , working in stores , boutiques etc,..
Not in Ithaca. Every lousy store , restaurant ( most serve low quality food) i seldom see a person of color working behind the counter , serving or hostessing..Why is that?..is your store so high class that you can not hire peoples of different ethnicities?
This is why long time ago chose , not give one cent of my money to stores that hire no people of other races than white . When i want to eat good food , served by pleasant and exiciting people , I get out of town.
When i shop for clothes , i get out of Town , and it is so exciting to shop and see a rainbow of colors , races , serving me incredible foods from all over.

Specially in the downtown areas ,where the "cool" people hang out.
A good example is Greenstar, gimmes , Farmers market .
The so called "Cool"people are the worst types. Funny that they try to hide a under a front of being Liberals.
funny thing happen at the Farmers Market..The amount of time i tried to shop there and the "cool" people , tried to rip of my money , when they notice that i am a foreigner and that i must be from
Cornell and have money.
This has happened so many times , it is almost a joke.
Stop being racist people. There is no Society in this world that can continuouly prosper keeping a certain segment of Society under ground , being mistreated ,an taken for granted.
Maybe your fear is based on guilty ...
