Trayvon Martin Debate - Granite City, IL

Something is definitely going on here. I can't understand why for the life of me the MURDERER is being protected as appears to be the case. I look forward to getting answers to the questions everyone wants answered and hope they are forthcoming sooner rather than later!

I heard its because of the STAND YOUR GROUND LAW, or something like that. But I also heard the tapes of the 911 calls to the cops. In them, Zimmerman was told to stand down, not chase the kid, and there is another tape where you can hear the kid begging for help before he is shot. But you hear the shot! I don't recommend listening to them with kids around.

Can you post a link to these tapes? I've read alot about what people are saying about them, but cant find the actual tapes to hear for myself.

If it would have been a black teenage boy that had shot and killed a white man, he would have already been arrested.

He has also had prior run ins with the police. For him to chase down the kid was his decision to get his hands bloody. If the boys hands didnt show signs of roughing up the guy as the guy claimed, somebody beat himself up and is telling a lie to get excused from intent to harm.

Well I definitely didn't hear on those tapes what I have read. I did not hear any racial slurs. The Zimmerman dude shouldn't have followed him since the officer told him not to.

I love how we are all innocent till proven guilty in this country...

I dont personally know anyone invloved so....who cares, dont effect me like it shouldnt effect any of you that dont know them...

If it were a black man who shot this kid or a Hispanic kid who was killed NO one would of ever heard about this.

Why does race have to matter? A kid was killed for NO reason. Black white or blue justice should be had. If it was your child or family member anyone of you would want to see this man pay for what he has done.

justice was had he defended himself self defense justice was served now let

I just want to know why they are showing these old pics of Trayvon?? Has anyone seen the pic of how he really looked? Also what is everyone going to say if proof comes out he attacked the other guy? How does anyone know he wasn't casing someone's house? He had been caught with burglary tools previously and a bag fun of women's jewelry. I think the press it painting this all american kid image that does not fit the gold tooth wearing thug that he really was.Oh wait wasn't he already suspended from school for pot? There is wayyyy more to this story. Reverend Sharpton is on a roll and we all know how that has gone before.

Even if he attacked Zimmerman, Zimmerman was following him and threatening him with a gone. If Trayvon hit Zimmerman it seems to me it was in self defense.

The TRUTH is; no one was there to be able to honestly say what happened and I think its horrible that everyone is ready to hang someone that they don't know.

I'm tired of this topic aswell but mostly because I am ashamed of how the public is behaving.
