How did the shooter get a busted lip and a cut to the back of his head if there wasn't something else going on?

When you pass laws like Florida and Kentucky have done where you can "stand your ground" then this is the sort of thing that happens.

Gun groups promote such laws with the idea of people protecting themselves with guns, instead it becomes a quick draw contest just like the old west.

Sometimes you get just what you ask for, idiots with guns kill people, no questions asked.

George Zimmerman took it upon his self to follow Trayvon after the lady on the 911 tape clearly tells George to not follow Trayvon, But No, George just had to play "Cop" and follow the 17 year old Trayvon & shoots him. Could have slipped on skittles and hit his head, who gives a shit ! Fact is the coward murdered an innocent child based on race, ignorance, and misguided fear. International law, and the rules of engagement are the difference, in no theater of operations have I fired the first shot, have always just been better trained than my enemy. Have never shed a tear, or lost one minutes sleep over it.

I might be old but I'm not fat. I do carry a weapon, but I pray I never have to use it. That's the difference between a responsable gun owner and george.

It's bad the boy got killed, but you have to think all hell breaks losse when a black person gets killed by a white person.
