Trayvon Martin Debate - Beckley, WV

I voted 'need more info' because the MSM can not be trusted. They show Mr. Martin as a sweet, cute little kid in the photos that has to be atleast 5 years old but they will not show a photo of Mr. Zimmermann who they say is white, but looks like a latino to me from all the internet photos I've seen of him.
In my opinion, the MSM is using this incident to help Obama's reelection campaign because there are no Latinos running against Obama in November.

Hey, listen up!

None of us on this forum have all the facts/evidence that happened in this case. Not many are aware of what the law "stand your ground" means.

BUT, too many are willing to let the media decide the case or just let knee-jerk reaction rule when hearing bits and pieces of the facts, like you.

As for Obama, he has inserted himself into racial divisive matters without fully investigating all of the facts and he should shut his f**king face and stop with the campaigning, and that would go for any President who decided to get involved in that and use something like this as a campaign tool.

I feel that Obama said only as much as his conscience forced him to say. I would hope that any president would speak to the parents of a son who had been killed in similar circumstances. It doesn't have as much to do with race as it does with being a father of teenage children.

I think Obama restrained his natural racist tendencies in an election year. No matter what the outcome, he has the black vote. He needs hispanics and whites. Maybe he learned something from the beer summit.

And further more - this hoodie crap is crap because when Zimmerman first described Martin as suspicious, Martin wasn't wearing the "hoodie".

The girlfriend on the phone says that Martin "said this man was watching him, so he put his hoodie on."

This will all come out in a trial if he's charged, which I'm sure there'll be some charge and assuming he lives long enough to get to trial.

Martin was a 19 yr old, 6'2 football player who was expelled from school.All of the pictures are of a 10yr old made to look like a kid.Zimmerman is a latino not white as they all say.Zimmerman was attacked from behind after Martin disappeared as per the police report and a reported witness,he was bleeding from the nose and head and was on the recording calling for help.Don't let all the hype and bias from the left wing news sucker you in.Zimmerman needs to be arrested and tried but as it is now we are only hearing part of the story.

OKay..they have shown pics of him older than fiver years old. they have showed photos of Zimmerman who is a White Hispanic(mix). This doesnt have anything to do with obama nor will it help him win. Lets talk when u get all of ur facts straight.(just saying)

You listen. Obama has never really dug into racial matters even though he should. He only commented on the trayvon case because like any other president would have, he felt obligated to and it was too close to home.

you are right, he only has 95% of the black vote. You are also right that he has done very little for the black community as it is worse off in almost every category, yet he still has 95% of the black vote. Tell me that is not racist.

He was in a gated community that has been having break in's and he didn't live there. Zimmerman was on the community watch, so naturally he was on the look out for suspicious activity... He may have been a bit over zealous, but he didn't just follow the guy to shoot him.. he shot in self defense as he was on the ground getting the shit beat out of him. So I don't think this is a hate crime.

We're mostly hearing the media's version which is almost always wrong!!

Let me again remind folks - the hoodie connection is false. Martin was NOT wearing a hoodie when first observed by Zimmerman.
