Is it just me, or has this been the craziest, most dysfunctional Olympics ever?

Cyclists admitting to intentionally crashing, badminton players from three different countries booted for throwing matches, officials kicked out for poor officiating, Lochte threatened to have his gold medal taken away if he wears a red-white-and-blue grill, runner Kim Collins booted for meeting with his wife, Grecian athletes booted for unauthorized tweets, Americans threatening to leave because they can't use social media to thank their sponsors, and on and on and on.....
