People dont watch the Olympics here. First it would signify a dram of culture, secondly it would remind them how fat they are and void of ambition.

kinda odd. Everyone I know has been following the Olympics so maybe you are just way too cool to have any normal friends.

Oh I haven't exactly obsessively tuned in, however for me it is not my lack of physical fitness(I am in fact disabled), or my lack of culture. I have become disillusioned with much of the politics related to the olympics. I am sick of people pulling out drops of different ethnic blood to compete for different countries( when they are not eligible for US teams). I am sick of professional athletes competing( I already have seen Williams play tennis professionally since she was a kid) now too many are acting like narcissistic brats on social medias---compete and shut your mouths, stay clean & sober -- attempt to be a role model

The best part of the Olympics is when t is over and off tv it is dumb and not worth the timeor money they put in it.
