it's fast and there is no wiggle room for judge's bias. One either wins or loses; no question.

What a screwup....NBC neglected to show the entire gold medal game, between USA and Brazil's girls volleyball.....yet today are showing the entire match between Russia and Brazil's mens match......plus they showed just an edited version of the girls, last night after 11:30....kinda late for kids to see.....

NBC cut short the closing ceremony, figuring the masses would rather see one of their situation comedies, rather than the Who and the rock legends, scheduled for the finale and passing of the flame....you'll get what we give you, and like it......can you say corporate greed?

You should tslk to Obama about that!
His good buddy and job's czar Jeffrey Immelt is the CEO of NBC's parent company.
Probably needed to get in some free campaign ad's.

I agree blue. The choice to cut the ending ceremony to show a preview of a new sitcom was horrible. I shut off the TV and went to bed.
Whoever orchestrated the closing ceremonies did a horrible job as well. They did Pinball Wizard with impersonators. Where's Daltrey and Townsend? They do a film clip of David Bowie's stuff. Where's David Bowie? They get Mike Rutherford to play Pink Floyd's music. Why not play Genesis music? They do a segment on the Bee Gee's. They're Australian, not British.
Where's Eric Clapton? Where's Elton John? Where's Steve Winwood? Queen without Freddie Mercury?
And who the hell is Jesse J? I could go on.
Yet, I continued to watch, hoping for it to improve. It did not.
