History lesson # 1 for mexica of Maywood California, The Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire
The Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire was one of the most significant campaigns in the Spanish colonization of the Americas. The invasion began in February 1519 and was acclaimed victorious on August 13, 1521, by a coalition army of Spanish conquistadors and Tlaxcalan warriors led by Hernán Cortés and Xicotencatl the Younger against the Aztec Empires. Fact # 1.“It was the Spanish Empire that invaded the Aztec empire not the Anglo Saxon, as mexica from Maywood wants us to believe!
Lesson # 2. The Aztecs were a Pre-Columbian Mesoamerican people of central Mexico in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries. They called themselves Mexica The Republic of Mexico and its capital, Mexico City, derive their names from the word "Mexica".
Fact # 2. The Aztec region was limited to central Mexico, near the Yucatan peninsula, not all of Mexico and North America as this mexica from Maywood wants us to believe!
Lesson # 3. Several years before the Spaniards arrived in the Aztec Empire, Tenochtitlan had some unusual, natural disasters. Between 1517 and 1519, the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan had an earthquake. Lake Texcoco had flooded the capital city. The Aztecs believed the disasters warned of the fall of their empire.
Fact # 3. the Spanish soldiers became known as the Conquistadors, the Spanish word for "conquerors." Spain began to rule Mexico. Spain built Mexico City where Tenochtitlan had been. Mexico City became the capital city of the Spanish Empire in the Americas. Aztec refers both to the people who founded the empire, who called themselves Mexica, or Tenochca, and, more generally, to all of the many other Nahuatl-speaking ethnic groups that lived in the Valley of Mexico at the time of the Spanish conquest. The name Aztec is derived from Aztlán, the “mythical homeland” of the Mexica; according to tradition, Aztlán was located northwest of the Valley of Mexico, possibly in west Mexico. The name Mexico is derived from Mexica.
It’s not that difficult to research the facts and present them! This mexica from Maywood would have us all believe in his fabricated interpretations of history. Word of wisdom here: The ALL explorers in those days kept written documentations of their encounters and reported back to their leaders. Maywood mexica has nothing but exaggerated myths to tell!

When are they going to change the law that allows all of these children born from illegal aliens, to become instant American citizens? Blame it on Our current President, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Ried, and Barbara Boxer, they want their votes and will pay dearly for that their votes. Also our Supreme Court is full of Socialist liberals that won't do anything to protect our Country from these invader viruses.

There is NO WAY the USA should be educating Mexico’s children unless we collectively keep tabs on the costs and send Mexico the billing to recover our tax-payer monies spent on educating these children of that Country! This is just another LIBERAL agenda to obtain the Hispanic/Latino votes so these idiots can remain in power. Let Mexico pay for the USA building class rooms along the border to educate their children. Last I read the President of Mexico was worth 63 billion U.S. dollars. Mexican Drug Cartel payoff money, perhaps?

It figures we would find your trouble-making bullcrap here! Many groups of colonists came to the Americas searching for the right to practice their religion without persecution. Not because Europe needed fixing! Your misconception of why Europeans came to the Americas is way off base. European settlers migrated to South America, Central America, Canada, Australia and so on! Spanish conquistador Hernan Cortes took over the Aztec Kingdom and Francisco Pizarro conquered the Inca Empire. As a result, by the mid-16th century, the Spanish Crown had gained control of much of western South America, Central America and southern North America, in addition to its earlier Caribbean territories. Over this same timeframe, Portugal colonized much of eastern South America, naming it Brazil. And mexica wants us to beleive that it was England who supposedly took his mythical Aztec land from his so called people! It was clearly the Spanish empire that wiped out the Aztec, not the settlers from England! mexica disproven again by facts! Keep trying mexica, your rhedoric has no bearing here!

What impacts now can still trace roots to a couple of hundred years ago...not thousand. The fact that we are from the same specie of human, doesn't bring down borders! Does it??? 150-400 Years is recent history? OK, then this would fit under that category, in fact it was last week; "Because of the byzantine rules of Mexican and U.S. bureaucracies, tens of thousands of those children without Mexican citizenship now find themselves without access to basic services in Mexico — unable to officially register in school or sign up for health care at public hospitals and clinics that give free check-ups and medicines. At issue is a Mexican government requirement that any official document from another country be certified inside that country with a seal known as an "apostille," then be translated by a certified, and often expensive, translator in Mexico. It's a growing problem in Mexico as hundreds of thousands return home because of the sluggish U.S. job market and a record number of deportations. Illegal migration of Mexicans to the U.S. is at its lowest level in decades, with more Mexicans now leaving the United States than entering it each year. More than 300,000 U.S.-born children have been brought to Mexico since 2005, out of a total of 1.4 million people who moved back from the U.S. during that period, according to the Washington-based Pew Hispanic Center." http://news.yahoo.com/us-born-kids-migrants-l... . So, if the question this whole thread is about, why should American taxpayers foot the bill for illegal aliens' schooling? Much of what I wrote was to your benefit, you are just to addled by that Mexica horse crap to see it.

'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AMERICANS, MUST ADAPT... Take It Or Leave It. We Americans are tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on 9/11, we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Americans.'
'The American culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom.''We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society, learn the language!'
'Most Americans believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented in our history. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'
'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and in a peaceful enjoyment with us.''This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great American freedom,'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.''If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You asked to be here, or illegally crossed our borders to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted and stop vandalizing our cities and making false claims about our history.'
Stop trying to force your culture onto us or make outrageous claims that American land belongs to you; “total nonsense that holds no merit or truth”. By making these types of outrageous claims, we wholeheartedly consider you radical terrorists; your rhetoric drives hate and encourages violence, so leave if you don’t like it here.
Those of us with sane and reasoning minds understand poison for what it is; many of you immigrants are attempting to spread your poison in hopes of persuading others into your warped beliefs. You radical immigrants are incredibly out of touch and drive a wedge in our society by acting in a manner unbecoming to this Great Nation and the assimilated peoples who live here in harmony with one another. Immigrants who want to live under your own laws are not welcomed here. We Americans fully support our border patrol in their efforts to secure our borders and keep illegal immigration out of our Nation.

Those are scums, just like your kkk's or lowlife redneck white trash. Are you a white trash?? I can tell youre not! First, color would be a racist term used by the "low life" of either culture, second, the kkk were post war Democrats (the same people that expound the "humanity" of open borders today (Cheap labor). And third, "red necks" was a term used for a small group of individuals who belonged to a miners union in Tennessee. The color of skin and hair color and texture is simply an adaptation to an environmental condition which requires it. That goes for the eyes also We know that around 20 thousand years ago one male had a genetic anomaly that actually enhanced his ability to be more successful at mating, thereby populating Europe with that anomaly. Recently blue eyes can be found in nearly every population on every continent and independent of European genetics. Cool, huh? As far as our relationship in the scheme of things, we now know through genome studies that in fact Europeans and Amerindians are extremely closely related, only adding both populations from Europe and Asia our shared DNA on our separate journeys. What differs now more than anything is our "culture", a glance at any most wanted list where the population is of near equal, you will see where the real problem lies Acceptance is the key to a happier life.

mexica wrote: THE MEXICAN PROBLEM We mexicans are fed up with the constant accusations of all bigots that use the economy downturn as an excuse to target Mexicans. Always in desperate times you all point to an outside source. When the majority of times is your own greedy and corrupted official and politician that shit on your country's economy for self-interest or incompetence. Just look at the recent tremendous loss of Chase bank or the past scandals of ENRON. Is that Mexicans to blame? How about the welfare "bail outs" given to American corporations. Is that Mexicans to blame? How about the (white american) poor of the South region that are nearly 40% of all welfare recipients. Is that Mexicans to blame? American Corporation that take away jobs and move overseas to increase their profit. Is that Mexicans to blame?? Manipulated oil prices for record gas revenues. Is that Mexicans to blame? War. Is that Mexicans to blame?....once you fix all these problems maybe I could consider your problem fixated on Mexicans. Lets all be honest..... Is 17% of "Hispanics" (not all mexicans) taking welfare, the only problem of this country economical downturn? Either you're ignorant or a bigot of both, focusing on the weakest, easiest thing to blame! This is why your politicians aren't as fixated on immigration as much bigots would want because immigrants by majority come to work, most will go back as soon as they can't support themselves. Many are deported yearly under immigration laws. The ones that stay contribute to the economy by buying houses, opening business and doing odd jobs that employers can't find Americans to do, either Americans don't want to do or simply there aren't any, specially in Southern California. There are a few bad apples don't get me wrong, just like the east coast had their share of bad apples with recent poor, uneducated immigrants (Italian, Jews, Irish, etc) that migrated early in the 1900's dealing with high crime rates (organize crime), poverty and low standards of living. It's not a Mexican problem as much as you want it to be. The difference is that Mexicans are the most recent large influx of immigrants that are easily identify and targeted, no different than the poor and uneducated European immigrants from the early 1900's. These same people were targeted as a burden on the country, very much as Mexicans are being blamed nowadays. Don't be blinded by ignorance or fooled by bigots that state it's a "Mexican problem". Stop relating your countries problems to Mexicans alone. Is not as if all Mexicans are lazy on welfare. The Majority are responsible and contribute to the economy, and pay taxes to build schools, roads, etc. Talents in sports and big & small screen are easily recognize. Mexican contribution in armed forces are huge. And were integrating ourselves in science as our Jose hernandes from California. I'll give you a bit more respect by showing your true nature of a bigot, instead of justifying your hate by ranting false statements toward Mexicans . -GC Would you like a slice of cheese with your whine dumbass?

Exclusive: The Truth About 'La Raza'
"Behind the respectable front of the National Council of La Raza lies the real agenda of the La Raza movement, the agenda that led to those thousands of illegal immigrants in the streets of American cities, waving Mexican flags, brazenly defying our laws, and demanding concessions.
Key among the secondary organizations is the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.
One of America's greatest strengths has always been taking in immigrants from cultures around the world, and assimilating them into our country as Americans. By being citizens of the U.S. we are Americans first, and only, in our national loyalties.
This is totally opposed by MEChA for the hordes of illegal immigrants pouring across our borders, to whom they say:
"Chicano is our identity; it defines who we are as people. It rejects the notion that we...should assimilate into the Anglo-American melting pot...Aztlan was the legendary homeland of the Aztecas ... It became synonymous with the vast territories of the Southwest, brutally stolen from a Mexican people marginalized and betrayed by the hostile custodians of the Manifest Destiny." (Statement on University of Oregon MEChA Website, Jan. 3, 2006)
MEChA isn't at all shy about their goals, or their views of other races. Their founding principles are contained in these words in "El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan" (The Spiritual Plan for Aztlan):
"In the spirit of a new people that is conscious not only of its proud historical heritage but also of the brutal gringo invasion of our territories, we, the Chicano inhabitants and civilizers of the northern land of Aztlan from whence came our forefathers, reclaiming the land of their birth and consecrating the determination of our people of the sun, declare that the call of our blood is our power, our responsibility, and our inevitable destiny.... Aztlan belongs to those who plant the seeds, water the fields, and gather the crops and not to the foreign Europeans.... We are a bronze people with a bronze culture. Before the world, before all of North America, before all our brothers in the bronze continent, we are a nation, we are a union of free pueblos, we are Aztlan. For La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada."
That closing two-sentence motto is chilling to everyone who values equal rights for all. It says: "For The Race everything. Outside The Race, Nothing."
Seems like treason and racism
