Immigrants & K-12 Debate - Alloway, NJ

It's discriminatory, not to mention unfair, to allow us to pick and choose who we can provide schooling for based on their immigration status. It's not too surprising to know that the know-nothing movement never truly died. It went underground, or it was rarely talked about in the open. I'm ashamed to live in a county narrow-minded enough to want to deny young illegal immigrants the right to an education. If they come here seeking a better life, it doesn't make them illegal. They're immigrants like those before us. Get over it, if it's not ALL white (which seems to be the root of the problem with most here), it's actually all right. A little diversity is a GOOD thing.

It's wrong for someone to break into our home and demand thati feed and school their kids. Illegal immigration hurts diversity. They are rooting out everyone that came here legally. It's unfair that some people refuse to follow rules that other immigrants follow. I am paying for the education of illegals. I pay for the building, the books, and the teachers..don't tell me it's not fair to say enough is enough. We need to educate American kids. If illegals want to educate their kids then they have to pay tuition.
