This will effect me in my retirement, but the age of eligibility MUST rise. Don't like or agree with everything in Ryans plan but it is a plan. The democrats comment has been - "We took care of the Medicare issue with the Afforable Care Act." It doesn't need to be changed." WRONG.

Before they take away from Medicare, remove all the frills and give-aways from the big corporate gluttons and big bank and Wall Street thieves, and the representatives in Washington who think they should have special privileges and pay increases when most Americans are out of work, underemployed, or have had a freeze on their paychecks for a couple of years now. Leave the American "every man" alone and tax the big, rich corporate hogs and stop rewarding American companies who are shipping all the jobs to foreign nations!

I agree with you but unfortunatly it will never happen. We are headed back to a two class society, those that are rich and those that are poor. We are now experiencing the first generation that will not be doing better than their parents it has been in decline for the last 10 years. When the Supreme Court gave the right to big business to give uncapped donations to political races that was the final nail in the coffin. And now the republican/tea baggers are trying to take away all workers rights, it's a sad time for American workers!

Because you always blame everything on Republicans and refer to people who want smaller government and less taxes in a derisive way without providing any proof to back up your statements. Facts? The facts are we have a Democratic President and Senate and until the last mid-term election we had a Democratic Congress two years before Obama. Please tell us how Republicans and especially Tea Party supporters are trying to take away workers' rights instead of just ranting your liberal, Kool-Aid talking points. Most tea partiers are working class people, and if you were paying attention you would know that.

ryan plan is a voucher system.
if it such a great plan why is it implemented in 2022. Why not now? why not implement it immediately? in effect the plan would index to inflation. If costs exceed inflation seniors are on the hook for the difference. medical costs tend to exceed the rate of inflation.
