Republican for life wrote: This race is not about what religion you come from but the pure fact that..... Obama just is NOT getting the job done. PERIOD! Romney and Ryan make a great team for A LOT of reasons and the first is the economy. America HAS to get back to work soon or we are doomed! Why would anyone think we can just keep borrowing and spending money? You just can't do that. Tell me one thing that Romney will do to get people back to work. He has no agenda, just rhetoric. If you're uinemployed, it's not because there isn't any work. Just look around: A housing shortage, old bridge, roads full of potholes and overcrowded schools. Whatever our needs, they all require work. So what kind of world has work but no jobs. It's a world where work is only related to satisfying the profit needs of business.....Romney's world. This country was not built by the huge corporations. It was built by people who work. As long as employment is tied to someone else's profits, the work won't get done. The Republican-controlled Congress (approval rating of less than 10%) turned down the Jobs Bills. Another thing. I can't support Romney because everything, from his refusal to reveal his tax returns to offshore bank accounts in tax havens with strong bank secrecy laws, seem to indicate that he is a tax avoider. Maybe Romney needs to explain his "Bush retread policy proposals". It didn't work with Bush and it's not going to work now. One final thing. Obama oversaw the creation of more jobs in 2010 alone than Bush did in eight years.

Newsie- If Obama has created more jobs than Bush did in 8 years why is the unemployment rate over 8%? And it's been there for 42 straight months! One in Seven are on Food Stamps (another record Obama holds), record home foreclosures, etc.
And the Senate, is controlled by the Democrats and has been for the entire four years Obama has been in office. Oh, and they haven't even bothered to submit a budget as required by the Constitution!
Romney's plan/agenda is simple: do the opposite of what Obama is doing. It's bound to help!

Obama does not hold the record for food stamp recipients. Bush does. USA Today - Under Bush, food stamp recipients rose by 14.7 million. Under Obama, the increase has been 14.2 million. Approximately 440,000 fewer recipients during Obama's time. 7 1/2 million jobs lost in 2008 and 2009. 700,000 government jobs cut 230,000 teachers cut 130,000 police/emergency workers cut 2.8 million jobs HAVE BEEN ADDED IN THE LAST 18 months. Average number of jobs created per month under Bush - 65,000 The Congress has been held by the Republicans for the past two years and what has been done. Absolutely zilch. No Jobs Bills. So, you want to go back to the Bush policies...or maybe Reagan's. Trickle down economics, anyone? With a quarter of a billion dollars in his pocket, this "good and moral" man used every imaginable tax dodge to avoid throwing a pittance to the National coffers, where a few might trickle down to those he had impoverished. That's where your hope is?

Where did you make this great discovery? I would be interested to know. There is no such thing as black liberation theology unless Glenn Beck or his ilk came up with such as phrase. There is only liberation theology and black theology. You can try to merge them if you want, but you need to define what you mean.

He does favor Muslims over Christians in the Middle East and here in America too. He once said that Islam played a big part in our founding, which is utterly false and stupid! His beliefs come from the Black Liberation Theology which hates Jews, and favors Muslims over Christians. Obama has never said one strong word against radical Islam during his entire four years in office. He makes excuses for their bombings, their killings, even though Islam abuses women and homosexuals. The Muslim Brotherhood is raping and attacking women now in Egypt and crucifying their opponents...

You can try to merge them if you want, but you need to define what you mean. You are either dense or stupid, not sure which. Black Liberation Theology has NOTHING to do with Glenn Beck. It has been around since the 70's. Beck may talk about it (I don't listen to Beck) but it was on the scene heavy when the Soviet Union was still meddling in world affairs. Just as the liberal World Council of Churches (and the national Council) were pawns in the hands of the Soviets so too was the radical blacks churches. Here in the South most black churches are conservative (I don't mean conservative like Reagan) on issues like homosexual marriage, pre-marital sex, etc.) In the larger cities these radical black churches preach a steady diet of anti- USA sermons, they favor bigger government, higher taxes, shrinking military, and so on. There are numerous websites that document this. If you don't know it then you haven't been looking. It is nothing new, it's just more in the news b/c of Obama's ties to Rev. Wright's church. Of course, the liberal media ignore it all and would rather focus on the evil Mormon church. I'm Baptist but I have nothing against the Mormons when it comes to politics...

Moniker: On the Food Stamp use by Bush & Obama, here are the facts:
USDA statistics show that participation in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) increased 93.38 percent from George Bush’s first year in 2001 compared to President Obama’s first year in 2009.
When President Bush took office in 2001, there were 17.3 million people on food stamps. During his last full year in office, 2008, there were 28.2 million on food stamps -- an increase of 10.9 million – or a 63 percent increase over an 8-year period.
But from the last full year of Bush’s presidency (2008) through 2011, just three years into President Obama’s presidency, the number of people on food stamps increased 16.5 million -- going from 28.2 million to 44.7 million -- an increase of 59 percent in just a 3-year period.
If you compare the average increase per year of the number of people on food stamps during the Bush administration (1.5 million) versus the average increase per year during the Obama administration (5.5 million)– food stamps have increased nearly 4 times more per year under Obama than under Bush.
In addition, if you compare statistics from 2003 (three years into President Bush’s first term) with numbers from 2011 (three years into President Obama’s presidency) the number of people on food stamps jumped 111 percent -- from 21.2 million to 44.7 million.
The most the benefits doled out in any given year under Bush’s presidency was $34.6 billion in 2008. The lowest amount was $15.5 billion in 2001.
I don't begrudge anyone using or needing SNAP. God knows people need it right now, BUT, it is a result of Obama's policies that use has shot up!
We need pro-growth policies that will encourage businesses to hire and expand...

Obama said, "Islam has always been part of America".
African Muslims were slaves in the United States going back 350 years ago.
The Muslim holy month of Ramadan was even celebrated by a festival in the White House under Bush. Bush even praised Islam in public after 9/11.
I find it interesting that you're talking about Obama's "Islamic America" when Fox "news" is partly owned by a Saudi Prince whose uncle is King Abdullah who rules by Sharia Law.
I went to the "acton" website. Perused the blogs. Very right wing. I noticed that one of the blogs was entitled, "Challenging Liberals on Economic Immobility". That's all I needed to know. Just more Christian hate.

Romney has said military spending is off-limits for cutting ($683.7 billion in 2010) But there's an 8% unemployment rate, right? That's in a large part due to the 700,000 government jobs being cut including states cutting 230,000 teachers and 130,000 police/responders. 7.5 million jobs were lost in 2008 and 2009. Expecting a quick recover is irrational. If you look at history, Democratic presidents have always created jobs at a faster rate than Republicans. 2.8 millions jobs have been created in the last 18 months. Corporations and the 1% are sitting on $3.6 trillion in cash. Wages and household income continues to drop in spite of record corporate profits. Think we need a little "trickle down"? The Republicans are peddling the wrong kind of capitalism. It's time to divest from Wall Street and the finance markets. It's time to get back to middle class and manufacturing. As long as we let the finance sector dominate our economy, it's just a matter of time before our society collapses. The Rock says you need to stop drinking the Kool-Aid. You obviously aren't living in the same world we live in every single day. The cost of living day to day is going through the roof! Get out of your ivory tower and get down here with the rest of us and feel the pain my friend. Gas, food, clothes, electricity and other energy sources are out of this world!! You can spew out all the propaganda you want but the FACT is we have no jobs, no jobs means no cash, no cash makes living day to day tough. Wake up dude and smell the coffee.....you're probably one of the few who can afford it!

Voting for a third party is useless. All you have to do is look at your life and say am I better off now than I was four years ago, or am I worse. I know very few people if any that could say they are better off now.

Why should be Bush be invited? He's a former President- we're looking ahead not back! Like Democrats, they're inviting their rapist-in-chief Clinton and the worse President ever (maybe tied with Obama) Carter.
As for Clint last night: He's a true American Icon, who is a hero across generations! How about that rambling, babbling idiot for VP Joe Biden? he asks a man in a wheelchair to "stand up"! Obama calls our Navy service members "corpsemen". I mean, come on! Clint looked sharp as Hell compared to those two!
