If the Democrats don't want to give up more, why are they trying to lower taxes on the poor and middle class while raising them on the 1%? You claim they are part of the 1%(which I don't doubt some are). If they want to raise taxes on themselves, how are they not giving more?

The ONLY people who wants to cut taxes is Republicans. dems want to raise taxes. People are free to withhold more than what the minimum requirement is. The Obama administration does not want to increase income tax on anyone making less than 250k a year. They want to let Bush tax cuts expire on people making more than 250k a year.

Republicans want to keep those tax cuts and cut it more for people making more than 250k a year and increase the taxes on those making less than 250k a year.

Geeez people! Do some research. Obama wants to keep taxes low on people like us.
Mitt's plan will raise our taxes and lower taxes for millionaires like Mitt to almost zero.

With the tax plans set out, anybody making less than a quarter million dollars would be hurting themselves to vote Republican. Think about it before you vote.

Obama is raising taxes in everyone including the unborn. Obamacare is a tax. Not continue the bush era tax cuts is a tax. His regulations are hidden taxes. Do you actually think corporations are going to just pay the taxes and regulatory cost out of their profits? No, they are going to pass the cost to the consumer.
