Just about everything we do or use involves oil !!! Even the fat ladies protesting oil are seen getting out of their cars , holding a plastic bottle of water and wearing a poly moo-moo. If we ban oil like most DEMS want then we should ban trains, planes, autos, clothing plumbing, electricity, windows doors, roofs, containers of all kinds and shoes...

I only oppose it until actual safety regulations are enforced as they are suppose to be.

If we don't continue to find energy sources for our TRANSPORTATION needs, we will end up riding horse and buggies..AGAIN. GM created the EV1 in the late 90's but bowed to pressure from those who would be adversely economically affected by it's success. In the end, the public lost out ten years later when gas prices rose to record levels and a car like the EV1 WOULD HAVE BEEN INSTRUMENTAL in combatting ultra high OIL/GAS prices. Thanks rick waggoner.

We need to do everything we can to be less dependant on outside oil sources.
