It is time to wean our economy and society off of all petroleum products and to live sustainably, or else kill every living thing on this planet including ourselves as whole ecosystems continue to crash. Contrary to the overpopulation myth, no one needs to die in order for this to happen … just sharing the farmable land equally would be a great beginning.

Look at what has already happened.
We have enough oil wells on land that are capped or not operating now. Get some of them into operation.
