instead of taking the money away from the poor and giving it to the rich. why doesnt the country do something to keep us all equal because obviously they love taking the money away from what the lower class needs like food stamps and social security.. why dont the find some other source that doesnt harm the poor anymore

Hi A.C,

The top 5 percent pay well over half the income taxes.

There are certain individuals, and I say that instead of corporations because I don't believe a social construct deserves the same status as a person, who take advantage of tax loopholes and even earn revenue from the government rather than pay taxes. They are the ones who the protesters want to punish, not your average law-abiding wealthy person.

Will WA join OR and CA in seceding and forming the new Progressive Utopia with Obama as Leader after the 2012 Elections? Many believe that secession is the only way to prevent a Civil War.

pfffft hahahaha, Obama as Leader. That's a good one. The capitol "L" was a nice touch, but next time try "Obama as our Lord and Savior".
I'd rather be led by a sleepy kitten.

The problem in Seattle is a lack of positive parenting. The Baby Boomers didn't raise their children to appreciate the blessings of being American. The City continues to decline in civility as a direct result. So sad to see "liberal" become a dirty word.

Have you ever heard of Van Jones? He is a communist who used to work in Obama's White House.

The Occupy Movement has nothing to do with the best interests of the people. It is a movement to generate civil unrest, eventually leading to rioting, looting, rape, robbery, and murder.

As a large number of Occupy's become "extremely out of control" the country will be ripe for Obama to declare martial law which will become a one-party dictatorship.

Hopefully Obama is making the same mistake as Napoleon, and Hitler attacking Russia with the winter coming on. Perhaps Obama's timing will be off the mark, and the Occupy's will be shut-out by extremes of weather.
