they have missed how life really works...get a job
Way to rub salt in the wound. You might not know it but the real unemployment rate is approaching 20% for men. They stop counting you after you give up looking and your benefits run out.In addition to that many employers have a policy that precludes the unemployed from being hired.Like the tea party demonstrations, the press is only focusing on the most outrageous acts.the press and the leaders are not helping America to solve problems by working together. As long as each side is snipping at each other the people who created this mess are ignored.

Cause Wall st and the largest co's in the world own congress. 40% of cong are millionaires. Avg salary of cong is 550k. Most all are lawyers. We are spiraling into the toilet from 30+ yrs of me, me, me. No Dem or Repub will solve this problem. All people and Cos must pay their share of taxes. Way too many pay .00 in taxes. Watch overseas with what becomes of the Euro. That effects us all.

I get it they are from ARK. Clinton had the luxury of following the smart Bush. he had no "war" to deal with. Sure W-mart has ruined al lot of small town USA by providing low prices and jobs. Free enterprise at work. Wmart negotiates with each city it comes into. No one makes one shop there. I do. Clinton left the USA a balanced budget with surplus. I like the Clintons. A lot can go to hell in just 10 years.

It is not just the war ,it is everyone buying the cheapest stuff possible if you have no money, and if you have money you buy the most expensive German car you can find.I like the Clintons too for some things, but I have to be honest, all the welfare reform,import- export treaties ect were taylor made for Wallmart. There is just no getting around that.We have returned to the robber barren days that everyone fought so hard to reform. My favorite president would have to be Teddy Roosevelt we need a guy like him to run the country.

>>> comments from Mr. Chairman at talklubbock.com . Join us here if you like.....
every group has its genesis..I remember when the tea party gig first showed up in lubbock..heck, just a few folks meeting at the 50 yard line, then I think they moved their meetings to a church..no clue where tea party central is now,, and I don't care..seems like party affiliation requires a lil blind acceptance...The occupy group will finally set a course and will define it's goals and recognize it's leaders,,that's when they will become a force to reckon with.
How did Arlo put it ?..something about a lone voice becoming a chorus turning into a movement....heck, I'm sick to death of corporate C level schisters too,..anybody in their right mind would be,,unless you're maybe one of those afflicted with blind acceptance..

Since long ago, from first hand experience I have been preaching about the decay in our corporate governance and the ills that plaque our market system...as much as I hate to just blurt this out on a public forum,, I truly think that gross mismanagement and greed on virtually all levels of business and government has sent our country into an irreversible economic death spiral..what as gone asunder can't be fixed with the election of a new administration, republican, democratic or otherwise..the deep rooted problems of infrastructure decay, economy collapse and civil unrest will only worsen...it seems that decades of lethergy has predetermined our course.

but hell, who the fk cares, the game is on....gimme a beer..go Cowboys whoo hooo!!!

This is what they are talking about in law school. In law school they make you take an ethics course before you graduate, but some law students were caught cheating on that portion of the test (they dicovered that they all had the same wrong answers).I disagree with you about a downward sprial even though it looks that way.I predict more of a valley then going back upward toward normal, because I really don`t think that everyone will allow this system to collaspe,It is much more likley that reforms and adjustments will me made around the edges, untill things are improved at least that is what I am hoping for my kids sake.

I can't believe anyone would stand up for what the Occupy bunch are doing? Miscreants camped out all over this country defecating on the streets, rioting, looting, etc. Have you seen any of the pics of these fine upstanding citizens? Even Oakland, California is having to clamp down on them. And this comes from an area that the City Council of San Francisco has had to put a stop to public nudity at restaurants and cafe's. You have got to be kidding me!

It's happened before, in 1848 and in 1968. The youth of the world took to the streets to protest the injustices of autocratic political regimes and rapacious business interests and to demand the most basic human right to participate as equal citizens in the affairs of society.

On October 15th, millions of young people -- and their parents and grandparents -- swarmed onto the streets in large cities and small towns around the world, decrying an economic system that favors the rich 1% at the expense of 99% of the people. The protesters are frustrated by a lack of jobs. They are angry over governments giving bailouts to global banks and subsidizing corporate giants while cutting vital public services to the middle class and poor. And they are worried over the steady rise in the earth's climate from industrial-induced carbon dioxide emissions that now threatens to disrupt the world's ecosystems and trigger a mass extinction of life on the planet.

I recently spent time with many of the October 15th organizers in Spain and Italy -- the countries that hosted the largest street protests. I came away with the ...remainder here

One of, if not the most liberal tabloids in the world! Get out of your little circle and get other news sources and then you can form educated opinions on what is going on. The Occupy folks have been abducted by the most radical of elements. ACORN for one!
Peaceful protests are one thing, but when violence is getting to be the norm.........Kinda tells you who is orchestrating the whole thing. Every major poll in the country now is showing that the majority of the American citizens are tired of this. Peaceful protests are as American is it gets .......... not anarchy!

This winter will be the Occupy Movement's Valley Forge. An uneasy quiet may settle across this land blanketed in frozen dishonesty while OWS goes to the ground. Wait until next summer when the Occupiers head for the nominating conventions. >>>> more here <^> Critical State <^>

Yeh, you're right. Lets let these kids cover our asses while the Republicans tell us over the age of 55 we will be "unaffected", I mean, really, we were the ones that sat back and did nothing while this mess was being made,
But now, lets have the kids clean it up!

Of course, we might add that they were told to go to school so they didn't have to compete with the
illegals" for jobs. But our corporate welfare has encouraged companies to go overseas with their hiring.....but wait....what was i thinking, they are just lazy kids abusing the system. I almost forgot!

Friutcake!

My comment was not directed towards the kids who have inherited this mess but towards those that have taken advantage of a system that was originally set up to help those that actually needed short term help.
My children are working there way through collage with menial jobs it has not been handed to them. They have been taught that if thay want something to work for it.
Blaming just the republicans for this mess is a bias comical statement.
As far as over 55 were just screwed we sat there and let our representatives steal S.S and did nothing to stop them. Its a little late now to fix it but I cant see our representatives not getting there inflation adjustments.

As far as Fruitcake. They do make good door stops. So apparently i'm good for something. What about you??

Some of the Media went and interviewed the homeless people that have been living in the parks for years, also a bad group called (black Flag) were looting and burning.I hardly think that is represeitive of the movement anymore than I think the guy who bit someones finger off at a tea party rally was reprsenitive of the tea party. The feeelance reporters sell what ever they think will sell, and some people will buy it.BTY I won`t even will my car with gas for fear of being mugged, everyone knows that.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Pisces

Having to bow down to convention or limitations is enough to make you want to scream right now, and you'll do your utmost to rebel in any way you can. Be careful about this because you could easily get on the wrong side of someone who has power or authority over you. It feels as though you're battling with forces that want to keep you under control, and you don't like it one bit.
