Let me explain my idea: simply, it would allow real oversight, not filtered through some crony corporation. With my verification system you'd be able to log in and verify what your vote is....and using social networking you could engage your entire group of friends, relatives, and other trusted associates to verify their votes as well.
The data set thus verified would grow in a viral fashion and would eventually reveal whether officially reported results are in fact legitimate. Obviously it would easiest to deploy for local and state elections, but can be used at any scale. In fact, the state scale is really as large as one needs to go, because of the electoral college.(Which another piece of state control that should be abolished because it results in tyranny of a simple majority)
