The movement seems filled more with hate and an unwillingness to do what they need for themselves and feel that others should support them.

It is difficult to support a cause that doesn't really know what it's purpose is except to "oust them rich thieves".. Come on, you have to come to the table with more than that.

Get over it. Do you have a cell phone? Do you have cable TV? Take a look around your life and see what you have that is actually considered a need vs. a want. I would be willing to bet you have wants that aren't exactly considered a need, and while it might not be desirable, perhaps they could be replaced by needs. Mom or Dad drink or smoke? That would be a want that could easily put some food on the table. Take a moment for reflection... why are you in the position you are today? 1. Are both parents educated? If not, go back to original question. Plenty of grants are available for those in need to help advance their education. Don't have the time? You can make the time if it is important enough. 2. Are both parents employed? If not, go back to original question. Can't find work or just won't take a job that is beneath them? Plenty of manual labor jobs available for willing workers. Am I jealous of those on the top of the pyramid? Naturally. Would it be great to earn $250k/yr? Of course. The reality is, you can't have rich without having poor. Everyone can't be making that kind of money. Have a select few of them abused their power and position, conducted unethical if not illegal activity in the name of making an extra buck? Sure! So to challenge the system, the "Occupy" movement feels it is best to stop working, stop studying, stop any forward progression and any constructive way to correct the problem, and simply go stomp your feet like a brat not getting your way in a public manner and call it a protest. I'm sorry, I can't sympathize with that. That is not a real cause. It is the pathetic whining of a generation of youth that feel entitled because they have been brought up expecting everyone to be equal. Now that the real world has smacked them in the face, they start to wonder why they aren't getting a trophy for finishing 12th like they did in 6th grade soccer. The bad news, Katy, is that you don't get a trophy for barely getting by in life. You get ramen noodles.

Corporations own all of our politicians. Banks crash the world economy. America is involved in multiple wars. Our country is in debt 15 trillion. Countries are collapsing around the world. 100,000 people are out in the streets of America protesting against this all this. And you want us to just vote every couple years. NOT GOOD ENOUGH Are you getting paid to be a topix propagandist or what? POWER TO THE PEOPLE

Maybe if these people would go find a job then there wouldn't be a problem.
I have worked ever since I got out of high school. Some jobs may not have been glamerous or well paying but I worked and never asked for a handout.
Yes, Vote! but between thoes times you should be in contact with thoes who represent you and let them know how you want them to represent. If 99% of a congressmans/womans voters would send them info on what they wanted then the person would more likly go that way.
I am all for POWER TO THE PEOPLE! You just need to know how to use the power and not be stupid about it!

The movement is disorganized and destructive. Anarchy has never been good. Not helpful for anything, especially during difficult times.

Hey Cyber Jerk The girl wasn't complaining about not having a cell phone or designer jeans... She was talking about not having "Food" .... A growing problem that effects more familys than your spoiled ass is aware of. I know of nice middle class familys who are having to go without cable cell phones sell their cars and go to food banks this doesnt just effect poor familys it is happening in all classes and many are your friends (if you have any) and neighbors but they are too embarassed to ask for help because of assholes like you who judge them and react this way... Yes it is true there are many americans who are lazy and abuse the system there are twice as many familys out there who truly need the help. Instead of responded to a 15 year old childs post with all your opinions that had nothing to do with this girl or her post why dont you go empty your cabinets and go donate to a local food bank and why dont you ask that girl if its ok with her parents if you take their family a meal instead of tearing apart her statement... You obviously have never been hungry never had to go without and never got off your ass and volunteered at a shelter or food bank to see first hand how humiliated theese people are or how incredibly gratefull they are to recieve a meal... This could be your family or your young daughter whos hungry one day... Ask yourself: would you want somebody writting a cruel judgemental response to your daughter or would you want your daughter to see faith kindness and humanity in action by the stranger who shows up with A meal for your family.... Dont be the asshole cyber guy go be the cool stranger who puts some good karma out there... Your a better person than that post go find that person and take that family a Meal... It could be your family who needs kindness someday.

The 1% have made trillions of dollars off of the backs of the 99%. This is going to end. POWER TO THE PEOPLE
