Obama isn't squeaky clean himself though. He's sucking up like an ass and trying to do this bipartisan b.s., but it isn't going to work. Because the republicans are pretty damn backwards as it gets. They are going to want him to kiss their fat asses and then shut him down. Plus Obama isn't completely ending the war either. He has other plans which are going to screw us even more. The budget is unfairly stacked with military getting billions & trillions to waste in a pretty pointless war.
Other programs that are desperately needed are ignored and cut; such as music, the arts, and school funding all around. Our social services for the people, unemployed, and the poor & needy.
As well as renovation funds for our cities and states with our infrastructure crumbling to pieces.
Our post office system is in trouble it doesn't have enough funding and is cutting thousands of workers. We might not be able to receive mail on a daily basis soon. That'll be a thing of the past at this rate and people depend on the weekly mail carriers for packages and checks that are received on certain days to pay bills and buy food. The government doesn't seem to realize how dependent people are on the mailman and the difference it means between getting money or funds to pay the rent and bills or not. The other downsize is less jobs as well, because of a fragile economy.
The jobs people had to make a decent living 20-30 years ago are basically minimum wage and scraping by now. We've lost a tremendous amount of jobs and almost half of what we have now isn't enough to decently survive on. America needs to create jobs in it's own borders that'll benefit our country. Interests and ideas that'll push America forward. Our education systems needs to be redone and evaluated, because it's like an outdated dinosaur. It's made for what was once there and not what is. It was created to educate, but to also crunch out worker bees and that has never been more evident then today. All of the curiosity, creativity, and ingenuity is being forced out. The over saturation of young folk with college degrees that can't even get them jobs is heartbreaking.
