Obama's bail outs have failed in every way. Worse, is that they started the avalanche of failing businesses across this country via the backlash of tight bank policies with regard to lending. That is coupled with the huge government spending spree has left the country with an impossible debt to repay. The world has lost faith in the US as a world leader in any catagory, and we are rapidly becoming a socialistic nation with nearly complete government control of the economy. Taxes are higher on the individual and on the smaller corporations as well. The worst part of that is that the money is being spent on entitlement programs, foreign aid, and the apparent building of socialistic nation. The trade deficeit is at an all-time high, and there is no movement being made to bring manufacturing back to the US as there is no insentive to do so. The energy policies compound the problem by not allowing companies to develop our own resources, and we continue to be at the mercy of foreign supply. In turn, that raises the price of every item we consume. Try to think of any commodity that is not partly produced or wholely driven by energy costs. In addition Obama promotes and courts unions of every kind and fails to see that it was, and is, the cost of union benefits and wages that began driving business out of this country in the first place. Finally, our economy cannot get better by government spending and control over the healthcare system, nor of all the various forms of welfare. Added to that is the cost to taxpayers the growing burden to support illegal aliens, and the indigenous generations of free loaders we already have. Also, Has anyone openly discussed the expense incurred by this nation because of the crime perpetrated by these people. Yet Obama gives amnesty to illegals and continues to promote life lived at taxpayers expense while doing nothing to stem the tide. The fact is that as of three days ago, there are 100 million people in the US that are now on welfare. At this time, 47 percent of the entire population of the United States is receiving direct financial aid from the government in one way or another. 47%!! This is a figure that is 17% higher than ever before. Very simple math will tell you right there, that we are much worse off. Moreover, that leaves precious few to support this country in the "out of control" spending mode we are seeing. I don't know about you, but I'm tired. I've seen my retirement fund entirely lost, and faced up to the reality that I will die on the job as I have no money upon which to retire. I'm also tired of supporting those who will not try to make a contribution. I'm tired of seeing my tax dollars going to support drug habits, jewelry, fingernails, cell phones, and attitudes that say "we deserve these things". I'm also tired of leadership that fails to be an example of what this country used to be, combined with an aire of determination to re-establish the values we once had. There is no doubt about it; the United States is hardly united with regard to the polarity that Obama has created, and the failing economy is but a part of the dismal failure of his administration.
