Manufacturing has expanded consistently over the last 1 1/2 years. Demand for skilled labor is in desperate need - if you're not working, you're not re-inventing yourself to adapt. There are plenty of good jobs out there - but people have to get it through their heads that what they may have done before may not come back, so re-invent yourself. Whinning is for wussies!

You MUST BE stoned! What in the world would lead you to believe I am NOT employed? As a matter of fact I am a successful businessman who watches his tax dollars being used to support generations of folks who use welfare as a way of life. My concern is that you would pass your propaganda indicating that the economy's looking up when in actuality things are in the crapper. There are not more jobs--unemployment IS NOT down as the media and clowns in power advertise. Rather what has made the difference in the unemployment numbers are the amount of folks who have expired their unemployment benefits, hence they are now removed from the roles, thereby falsely making it appear that unemployment is down. Really, all kidding aside--I truly thought you were sharper than that! Every single week I watch more than 33% of my pay check go into the coffers for supporting other people,not to mention that it runs me an additional $800.00/monthly for property tax for the novelty of living in MY house --Your views on what's going on with that Moron in Washington is quite skewed. Look, let's just agree to disagree--there is a wind of change blowing out there and the entire country is at the entrance to upheaval --Open your eyes man --cant you see what's going on around here? Nothing is improving--it's a complete mess.

The next big crisis is the DEBT BUBBLE. The US deficit is increasing unabated. Kids are graduating from college with huge debt loads. Parents who co-signed will be in big trouble. I don't see the unemployment numbers being a positive indicator either, because; it is manipulated by the number of unemployed who no longer receive benefits.

The best investment anyone can make is pay off the loan with the highest interest rate. And, pay down all debt.

Thank you-I did exactly that--I refinanced my mortgage to pay off my younger sons student loans so he would'nt be in a financial hole right out of the starting gate. My older boy has the Marine Corp. paying for his education and he was lucky enough to earn a scholarship--but as you pointed out --NO JOBS ! In todays world we now have the brightest, most educated unemployed people on the planet. The only jobs out there are menial jobs such as gas jockies and burger slingers.I cant believe how BLIND some people are.. As I recall, I think they stated the maybe 20% of the American population is actually working--it is those folks--you and me who are paying the taxes that support Washington, social security,welfare and all the other programs including the big bucks that this nnation sends overseas..WTF ? Really----WTF ?

As a retiree, I am not thrilled with risks of the stock market. But, US Treasuries are a safe haven paying record low interest rates. In fact, recently, a short term US T-Bill paid negative interest due to high demand caused by turmoil in Europe and Greece.

No debt is the best position to be.

And, the payroll tax holiday is a joke! The money should be collected to pay for Social Security (FICA). This was a tactic of Obama to boost lower income workers take home pay. It should have never happened! Instead, tax the wealthy a higher rate than I am paying...dammit!

Aside from your trivial attacks, let's look at what you stated;

1 - "I'm a successful businessman". Followed by "in actuality, things are in the crapper".

How does someone claiming to be successful do this in a terrible climate, as you state? Your statement is both baseless and without merit.

2 - "There are not more jobs--unemployment IS NOT down as the media and clowns in power advertise." Let's look at this ludicrous statement;

"FAIRLY OR UNFAIRLY, President Obama gets blamed for economic disappointments on his watch. By the same token, he gets to crow when things go well — whether he deserves credit or not. So he was entitled on Wednesday to trumpet the fact that U.S. manufacturing employment grew by 334,000 jobs over the last two years — the strongest two-year growth since the late 1990s"

I am not only speaking out of direct knowledge from the manufacturing sector, where I do business, and am doing very well, but what I find amusing are your reference's to me being either "stoned", or "what are you smoking" / people who are in fact professional do not speak this way, nor go on attack mode with not one single shred of evidence to prove their point. You do not come across as either a businessman, nor a successful one for that matter.

Now that I've pointed out how foolish you made yourself look, be quiet please.

BTW - 33% of you pay going to coffers supporting others? Funny. Now I know for a fact you're no businessman.

You truly are a pompous arrogant ASS..Firstly, my success in business is due to the management services I provide to companies who find it advantageous to have others run things for them--so I'm pretty much safe from the current mess that plagues our country,but many of the folks that I have used over the years to facilitate the smooth running in the management sector have gone belly up and out of business. On your second attack as far as the economy and unemployment, just check out the numbers of people on assistance of one type or another,have you researched the numbers of those who are no longer collecting unemployment yet still unemployed? I dare say these figures are not going to be for public consumption. I am not screaming "Conspiracy Theory", but the fact is--we Americans receive a watered down and filtered version of what goes on in our country as well as the world. Yes--Lee Harvey Oswald was the LONE gunman that took out JFK--And as far as Obama getting the credit for the good as well as the bad --Please --then I suppose the weatherman takes a bow every time we have a sunny day? The picture of what is going on in our country is quite distorted and the masses choose to believe the bedtime story with the happy ending and folks like you simply perpetuate and add some pretty flowers and background music to make it a bit more palatable. As far as me making reference to you being stoned and how unbusinessman like it was to put it in those terms? Would it have been more professional to state that, Excuse me sir, but I do suspect that you may be suffering the effects of imbibing a bit too much of the bubbly. Are you Sh-tting me? I called it the way I saw it, without filtering or censoring my anger. Are you familiar with the crap going on in Central America with the sugar cane workers Oh Wise One? The workers are being poisoned by the toxic chemicals used in the pesticides while growing the cane--sending at least 25% of ALL related workers into Kidney Failure and death. The powers that be are trying to convince the masses that it's due to excessive perspiring and dehydration from the work--would that be your story if it was happening here? Bottom lines that the current administration is inexperienced, inept and has no concept of America or the suffering and blood paid by its Veterans and citizens--While the propaganda machine keeps on cranking. BTW --to Zany Frank-No, "I DONT"

Your statements are hypocritical - I need not point out the fallacies in your statements - you would twist them again, but those without limited intelligence will read and see the hypocrisies in your statements.
Secondly, again you offer no supporting evidence of your claims - so please, go argue with a rock - you will find yourself finally on an intellectual playing field.
BTW - unbusinessman? You again illuminate your intellectual ineptness - it's called "unbusinesslike".
True businessmen know how to form a retort - fake, "supposed businessmen" attempt to sound semi literate, but do a poor job, as you do, and your true colors show.

If your kid's took College serious, than your child would have no debt. My Daughter didnt take one day of college for granted; she grated "SUMA CUM LAUDE" 4.0 for her had work she had all her loan's forgiven and won a full Scolarship to an Ivy league school Cornell university. Also if you lived in Colorado who is doing great than you would be fine.
