Do you really think the president has that much power over the economy?

Obama has absolutely no leadership skills! He is a joke that is slowly but surely killing this country. Nothing funny about the guy, he is doing serious damage and I am not sure what his true reasons are. If for example we had a leader with a backbone he would issue an executive order stopping this speculation on oil. This country hasn't got a chance in hell of recovering as long as gas prices are out of control! He is totally out of touch or flat doesn't give a damn!

The price of oil and gas are determined on a world market in which the president has approximately zero control over.

For the life of me i cannot understand why anyone in W.V. would vote republican. I know you all like your guns and the church, but I know your welfare / disability checks are more important. Approx. 3 million more unemployed since he took office, has nearly doubled our national debt to 16T, too many executive orders by- passing congress, has raised taxes exp; via user-fees, with his polices and regulations won't let oil drilling take place result higher gas prices, regulations from EPA killing jobs in powerplants and coal mining.
