I draw about $1,000 SSD per month. That amount FROZE in 2008 when O'Bama took office and finally (now in an election year) we finally got a cost of living raise which pans out to be $13/year. I'd laugh if I weren't too busy crying. He's well on his way to his agenda of "killing off the old people" who are such a huge drain of the US economy. Yeah, we are greater in number than ever in history, But can we not take lessons from so many other cultures who do not sweep there elders under the rug and pretend they don't exist but rather respect them and take care of them? We raised our children and made sure they had all the necessities of life, including LOVE & RESPECT. Why is the US so hell bent on sticking their elders somewhere where basic physical care is even hard to find. They are no longer needed, so they have nothing even akin to love from strangers that mainly abuse and bully them into a state where death is a welcome relief. What have we become in this country? Treatment of the elderly is an abomination! I'm there now and just pray that God will take me home.
