Although I think this is just his way to try and get round 2, I agree with him supporting this. I say if it is not for the votes.. Then lets make it legal all over while he still have some power. Prove it isn't a selfish cause!

Why should your bible dictate who can and can not get married? Believe it or not, not everyone shares your beliefs. If Bob and Joe get married, will it have any impact on your life? I'm willing to guess not.

God's word defines marriage as an institution between a man and a woman. Same-sex marriage is an abomination in the sight of God!!!

everyone should have the option to be happy it isnt for anyone else to judge and if it is wrong the ones in question will be the ones to answer for the wrong doing

It is not our place to say what is of right or wrong we practice the word of the bible on our personal terms not to seek or pass judgments onto others therefore if we do, we shall damn ourselves to fire and brimstone as the same of the accused. I am very liberal in how I think and when regarding homosexuality I believe the world has changed so drastically from the olden days that as long as we love one another and are kind at heart and do the best that we can possibly accomplish that god shall be proud of what is in our hearts. No one human that walks this earth can be considered perfection and we all have sins that we must atone for.

This is the year 2012 and not the 1950's a lot has changed in this world today!! Let me start with saying I am not a lesbian or gay!! I live with my best friend in an opposite sec cohabitating relationship!! Which is everywhere today and does not follow the Bible!! We can go to most any store and buy lottery which is gambling that is not in the bible !! I can think of so many things today that is common practice but not in the Bible!! I believe in God and that he died on that cross for our sins!! I am not perfect and I feel that if everyone cleaned out their own closets they might find they have no right to judge anyone else!!! We are all given the right to make our.own choice on who we love!! No I'm not at all saying thistle being gay or lesbian is in the Bible!! But there are passages about not passing judgment and loving thy Neighbors!! We are all suppose to love everyone and treat everyone with love and understanding!! I think if these couples love each other than it is not my place to tell them they can't be married if that is what they choose!!!! Please feel free to pick my comment apart and be judgemental of it!! I FEEL IT IS THEIR RIGHT TO MARRY WHO THEY WANT!! THIS WORLD SHOULD NOT JUDGE THEM ON BASIS OF SNYTHING!! I know some people that are gay and they are great people. But I think its wrong, but that dont make me care about them any less. If I encouraged them to continue being gay what kind of person would I be in Gods eyes? I dont say anything out of respect for my friends, but I will not lie and say that its right for two people of the same sex to be together whether they get married or not. It does say in the Bible Judge not lest ye be Judged, but if you would read more than one verse in the Bible it also says Judge Righteously.

Like I said there are a lot of things people do everyday that is a sin according to the Bible!!! That does not keep them from doing it!! And to God all sin is equal weather you committed adultery or murder or play the lottery he looks at them all as an equal sin

Your comment about reading more than one verse in the bible only proves it's contradictions. One verse tell you not to judge for any reason and another tell you it's ok as long as YOU feel it's righteous? I believe in GOD and I don't believe he loves any one of us any less despite sexual orientation. HE LOVES EVERYONE! Even those that are selfish and hypocritical! You wouldn't want to have to live under someone elses beliefs, why should anyone have to live under yours? After all, the bible and God are a belief. I am not saying you expect anyone to, I am meaning in general. Also, I am not calling you selfish or a hypocrite! Just trying to explain that God really does LOVES everyone, red, yellow, black or white, straight or gay. I believe God simply wants us to live and let live and to love and respect those of us that love and respect each other and God himself. I believe Gods love, is really that simple.

It is not right? It should be a person's choice just like all those who gamble smoke a cigarette or drink there whiskey or ect...!!! Please know that God looks at all sin as equal!!! So anyone who thinks there prejudice way of thinking is not just as equal to any other sin in Gods eyes your wrong!!! When two people love each other they should all have equal rights to marry!! What is wrong is two people loving each other for years and when one dies the other don't get their benifits that is wrong!!! Wake up world this is part of life would you want someone to tell you who you could love? Please know I'm not saying this to be mean just this world is still full of hate!!! I have talked to and known several gay and lesbian people and not once have they ever trash talked straight people!!!

love is love no matter what form it takes. we all have love want love or cant show love. i dont agree with this for myself but i do not judge those who do. if someone is happy then they will be the ones living that life not me. if i judge them then i am in sin just the same as any other sin. why is it God can forgive but we as humans cant?
