The Bible says: Le 18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Le 18:23
Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
Le 18:24
Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

Unfortunately, America has a national stance on separation of church and state. So, inevitably in the near future when most staunch bible thumpers have passed through the pearly gates, you will see gay marriage legal in all areas of the country. When you deny the right of anyone to marry for whatever reason you trample upon their civil rights i.e the foundation of our government. No where in the constitution does it say that you may deny homosexuals the to marriage. You bible quotes are irrelevant. The constitution and the King James Bible are not the same document. This isn't a Christian nation, it's a free one.

But the TRUTH is the only thing that will set this nation free. The founders of the Constitution believed in Godly principles. They read the Bible, and lived by it. The "unatural affection" is mentioned in the Bible as a sign of the end times. I'm glad to know that I'm ready to go when this old world comes to an end. I'm saved!

If those priciples were so influental, then why aren't they in the constitution as well? Although there are biblical references ,they were thinking about the people as a whole not just their own personal beliefs, something thats long forgotten by people like you.

These were not completely wrote down in the constitution because people pretty much all had the same moral beliefs then. There was no way for them to know that the world would be like it is today. If they would know they would probably roll over in their grave.

Irrelevant?! There is only one referee's call at the end of this game my friend, and his rules have been written down and He won't be challenged. You can use all the excuses you want but in the end your opinion won't count. And yes it is a free country. Ever hear of Soddom and Gomora? They also thought they could live any way they wanted and not be punished. Gee, how did that work out?
