Marriage was designed by God to be between a woman and a man, mainly in order to have children and replenish the earth

what does the bible have anything to do with our government?!?!?! i am pretty sure in america we have freedom of religion, and not every religion persecutes homosexuality like christianity does. so to make gay marriage illegal because the bible says so would be forcing the rules of another religion on people who might not follow that religion. that would be unconstitutional and UNAMERICAN. so think about that you neonazi morons.

Listen darling. Marriage that you're talking about in the bible wasn't done in the courthouses and didn't cost 30 bucks for the piece of paper to prove it. I never said gay people shouldn't have rights. Why is it that some people get angry because everyone doesn't believe the same? I'm simply stating the way I believe. Nothing more, I'm not name calling like some. If your marriage was a business decision, does your wife know? Or did she do it for love? Moreover, having the freedom and the "right" to state what you believe, in this country, on a public forum, is also man-made; however, keep in mind that other people have the same freedom and "rights" as you, and therefore can state what they believe also.

And yeah, this is about gay marriage, but I try to live MY life the way I believe, so in my case, I did indeed state something from the bible about it...and that's ok...I have not one time tried to push my belief on anyone else. The bible has nothing to do with our government and laws. Separation of church and state, get it? Or do you need a lesson on that as well? Your bible also states that women shouldn't speak in church and that men shouldn't have long hair. Where's the picket signs for that?

Jesus didn't say that! it was written by prophets that made up their own idea's of what the bible should have in it.
