Marriage is everyone's right. It is sad to think this day in age that there are still people that are opposed to basic rights for all of man kind. They use their bible to support their hatred, what a sin that is.

I agree. I’m very secure with my masculinity. Same gender relationships do not bother me. Some of the nicest people I’ve met are gay and some of the biggest hypocrites I’ve known in my 60+ years have been bible thumpers! To each his own.

I am in full support of same-sex marriage because who am I to vote against someone's civil right? Interracial marriage went through this trial of public disapproval. The common argument was that if two members of the opposite race married, then it would ruin marriage. That myth was perpetrated by bigotry. The same applies to same-sex marriage. People who are opposed to same-sex marriage have no legitimate reason - apart from bigotry. The biggest threat of marriage is divorce, not gay marriage. With nearly 50% of marriages ending in divorce, not by "death do us part", you cannot blame homosexuals. Heterosexuals are the one's who degraded the "sanctity of marriage" (if you even regard marriage to even be about sanctity). People need to stop imposing THEIR beliefs and THEIR convictions onto others because, frankly, why should someone else's personal life concern you? It really should not.
Ps. you bigots need to stop using the Bible as a means to spout your ignorance and hatred.

This is the same battle that was fought in the south 50 years ago with Loving v. Virginia, except then it was anti-miscegenation laws. Yes, 50 years ago I would have been barred from marrying my beautiful wife.

Who does it hurt and who says anyone else has to share your religious (the only argument put forth against gay marriage) views? Oh that's right, in theocracies like Iran.

It's not the natural order of humans. If everyone was gay how would the world repopulate? I'm not trying to put Anbody down. I'm just trying to be logical.

civil rights?

Civil rights as a "protected group." Homosexual want to include themselves alongside protected groups based upon race, gender, religion, or handicap. However, what right do homosexuals have to claim this special status. The courts have used three basic criteria to determine if a group deserves protection.(See Supreme Courts cases including San Antonio Independent School District v. Rodrigue, Massachusetts Board of Retirement v. Murgia, Plyler v. Doe, etc.) First, the group must have a history of discrimination with a lack of ability to achieve economic mean income, adequate education, or cultural opportunity. If you apply this things to the homosexual community, you will find that they do not measure up.

The average annual income of a homosexual is $55,430 compared to $32,144 in the general population and $12,166 in the African American community.
(Statistical Abstract of the United States) As for educational opportunity, three times as many homosexuals are college graduates as the general population.

civil rights has nothing to do with gay marriage. they are just trying to jump on the old bandwagon.

Once the wall gay marriage falls, then the marriages based on incest and pedophilia can follow. America will fully degenerate into a human freak show.

Society degenerated years ago! Where have you been? 50% of all marriages end up in divorce. We are a nation of bastard, illegitimate, mixed race, welfare, uneducated children. More that 50% of babies born today are to single parents in the barrio, hood, and white America. Too late homey! Look up your street in the state sex offender registry. Molesters and perverts are already living next to you!

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Taurus

You have a very high opinion of someone today. In fact, you're really impressed with them and you'll probably sing their praises to anyone who'll listen. If you meet someone for the first time now, you'll be very impressed and this will never change throughout your relationship. But try not to idealize them into something they're not.
