Marriage is a matter of faith, not government regulation. Two people can be home partners and yet not be straight, gay, or lesbian and should receive the same rights.

The Civil Union/Same Sex Marriage debate is a distraction away from important issues facing this country today. Let the states decide whether same sex marriage is right for them and let's move on. Google the NDAA, SOPA and FISPA acts -just do it and see what comes up. Let's focus on real issues like the importance of the next election, the imploding economy and dollar, race war being pushed by the federal govt in America, and the war being pushed with Iran that will no doubt lead to WWIII. Once you have a taste of truthful reporting you never go back to mainstream contrived corporate media. These hosts bash Republicans and Democrats equally because they know both sides are illuminati bought puppets out to screw us. Give alternative news sources a chance before you knock them. Download these shows to your MP3 players and listen on your way to work or whatever. All you need from mainstream media is breaking news and traffic/weather. For a summary of all the topics discussed on these broadcasts this is my take on it http://www.topix.com/forum/news/immigration/T... These radio hosts should do a show together or at least make guest appearences on each others shows. They all value truth and liberty in their own way. We don't have a lot of time left to get informed before the net is censored. Vote Ron Paul 2012, yes he's still in the race -Romney has not won the nomination but the media won't report this. |

One man one woman....End of story.

And you say you are a christian. YOU ARE AN IDIOT. You would make a good politician you change your sides with whatever is being favored by the crowd. But yet try to word it so people don't know which side you are taking. I think Hess has something for you when he gets reelected little mouse. |

God meant for a man and a woman to wed not two of the same sex.

If two brothers wanted to room together as simply room mates, should they not be entitled to the same tax breaks as a married couples. If two sisters lived together, should it not be the same? If a brother and a sister shared a home, should it not be the same? If two friends lived together, also? The question here is not that a marriage between a man and woman is a sacred spiritual union, the question is less government regulation of private matters that the government has no business regulating, federal or state. The whole issue is not about "same sex" marriage but about room mates have the same tax and legal advantages as do "married" couples. The law favoring "married" couples is discrimination. It should be ended and equal rights under the law provided to all. |
Careful, you could be prosecuted under Stolen Honor for falsifying military service. If you were in vietnam, where were you based? |

No the little bald mouse wasn't in Viet Nam. She never left Fl. To her combat would be holding on to the little boys she chases after. The Mouse can't even find Nam on a map. I don't have to wear my hat I was in Plaque Viet Nam 1968 Rolled through A Shau Valley a couple of times too. |

We are not talking about marriage, a religious issue not a government issue. We are talking about domestic partnership between two people and the legal rights they should enjoy. It's an issue of separation of church and state. |

What's an "REMF puke"??? When in Vietnam on TDY I was assigned to SAC (Strategic Air Command) and was enlisted then before I was accepted for commissioning as an officer. I worked with FB-111 bombers. BTW, what's your problem and who are you??? |

Please show me the words separation of church and state in the Constitution or bill of rights. You can't it was only mentioned in a supreme court decision. And I don't care if they have a civil union or not just don't desecrate marriage that was ordained by God. |

The First Amendment provides: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..." Marriage is a religious issue and the constitution forbids the government from making a law regulating marriage. Period. |

No marriage was taken over by the government they issues the licenses and without them you are not legally married. It was ordained by God from the beginning to be a man and a woman. So if it was as you say the government shouldn't be making laws that require a licenses for marriage it should be the church. Your point is moot and there is no reason to denigrate the sanctity of marriage. The government could easily give the same legal rights through a civil union. Good to see you admit there is no mention of church and state in the founding documents of our country. That was the federal government by the way, there is no such binding on the states. Any state can establish a state church unless the state constitution prohibits it. |

I do not challenge the "sanctity" of marriage, I merely take a position that the government can not regulate that "sanctity" that is a private and spiritual relationship between a couple the God that they worship. I am a proud Christian. I believe in the "sanctity" of marriage before God. However, I don't want the government regulating my faith in God nor my faith in the "sanctity" of marriage. |

They already regulate marriage. Again your point is moot if you don't want the government regulating marriage. So why not let the legal definition be what the biblical one is? The same one most Americans want and believe in. It matters not to me what people do in their own homes. Do what makes you happy. The problem I have is they are trying to take what God sat aside as holy and turn it into something worldly. No thanks I will stand by Gods word. |

I also stand by God's word. I just don't think that the government has the right to regulate God's word... |
