Marriage is between a man and woman. That is all. Homosexuality is wrong.

I'm sure the rest of his life will be difficult, having to come out to disapproving parents and risking getting kicked out, all the antiheterosexual bullying they will face, not being to marry their partner of many years, having a higher risk of teen suicide, etc. I salute you proud, for it will be a long time till you see justice.

You know it's funny homosexuals are allowed to be proud but when I say I'm a proud heterosexual I get attacked. Why don't you practice what you preach and stop bullying me for what I believe in.

I support gay marriage. It is about civil rights and protections. It doesn't impact my marriage.

Didn't know you were made God's spokesperson. I would be careful condemning people...it is in the bible not to. Being gay isn't a choice but I guess you know more than the American medical association or American psychiatric association. Being a homophobe is a choice. If your straight like me then why would really care about two adults being in love. Work on ur insecurities.

Didn't realize gay people are trying to deny you the right to see your spouse in the hospital, make medical decisions in case she or he is incapacitated, pay more estate taxes, prohibit you from carrying your wife or husband on your insurance policy, deny your wife or husband custody of the children you raised together when one of you dies, discriminate against you in the workplace because you are stereotypically straight, and take away your married tax credit. Anyway, I don't agree with you guess I am a straight "bully".

Im glad you read your bible. try reading the book of Romans ch 1: 26 thru 32 and you will see what God thinks about homosexuality. It isnt a matter of what everybody else thinks about it my friend ( american psychiatric association and medical association, ect.) Its what God thinks. God will judge everyone and when he returns to this world there will be no sin whatsoever so if i were you, i would repent and get right with him. Im not condemning anyone. just want to warn people of the comming judgement.

Study greek, study hebrew, and study the bible before any additions have been made over the last 100 years. Currently, there is not a consensus, but I guess you know more than an ivy league religious scholar. By the way, let's say that all 8 passages of the bible do in fact forbid same sex relations how about the 360 passages that deal with heterosexuality. I think it is time that we heterosexuals have laws made up against us too..I can think of 352 reasons.

everyone does have the same right to marry. The problem is some do not choose to exercise their rights. Marriage is by definition the union of one man and one woman. If you don't like the definition, do something else, like a legal civil union with another. Don't try to change the definition, then say you are discriminated because you don't like the definition.

You need to read the history of marriage. Marriage was created So that men could establish property. Women were property and the wedding ring demonstrated ownership. Historically, our conceptualization of marriage has changed and continues to change. Saying that people do not exercise the right to marriage when gay people don't have the right to marriage in all states is ridiculous.

If they choose to. If they don't want to marry someone from the opposite sex, then they freely chose that. Marriage, by definition, is between one man and one woman. do not try to change the definition, just create your own "institution" and get the same legal rights through legal partnerships. then everybody will be happy.
