And just what "kind" is it here in Tn/Ms that you think does not want or respect me? The queer kind? Whoe...you've got a foggy mask over your eyes, for sure if you think that's so. I've disagreed with a few but always pretty well liked everybody and visa versa. And I do have a lot of care for the word "respect." Be real careful now.

No, Im not gay, straight as an arrow, but if someone is an american citizen, pays taxes, they should be entitled to the same rights and protections that we have. You being intelligent should know this. But there will always be ppl like you who want to deny others their rights, Hitler is a good example. My parents died in a car accident when I was but 11 years of age, I was raised by my gay uncle and his partner. No, I was not sexually molested, not brainwashed, not recuited into the gay lifestyle{ I have a beauitful gf and child and soon to be married}. My uncle and his partner put me through school, was at every athl event I was in, taught me right from wrong, taught me tolerance. Then my uncles partner had an industrial accident when I was seventeen. He and my uncle had been partners for 32 years, they worked hard for everything they had. Then when he died{my uncles partner] his family got half of what my uncle and he had worked for. His family hated him, never visited him, but when he died they were there with their hands out. My uncle didnt have a leg to stand on, so to speak. So hell yeah, it pisses me off to hear ppl like you get on here and talk shit. But you just keep on hateing, youre kind is so good at it. But guess what, gays were here a thousand years ago and if this world last long enough they will be here a thousand years from now. Why one american would want to deny his fellow american the same rights he has is beyond me. The only explanation I can come up with is hate and ignorance.

Well Josh, I must say that you did have some rather unfortunate situations in your earlier years and for that, you have my best wishes. Nevertheless, I was raised entirely different than you and to this day, of my own free will, I see the gay life as wrong. Not for what your uncle provided you with, but for his method of life that he chose, as ill-fated as it turned out to be. Without a post too long to be interesting I'll just say that your "only explanation" above is not true......at all. Besides,.... you don't have to explain anything. Good luck to you and your lady friend.

Where there is a will there is s way .. you must always have the For site 4 the future .. if your uncle & his partner had made a will that would have made all the difference ..

gay marriage is a philosophical impossibility. The word "marry" can only be applied to a relationship between one man and one woman.

It is against God's Holy Word as unnatural and an abomination.

I shouldn't have to explain my vote. Gay marriage is wrong.

Say what wrote: Sexual perversion is an abomination to all Judeo-Christian moral principles and is against the Scriptures.. Yup, I'm all for traditional marriage, too. We all know Adam married his clone and Cain was married to his sister - just as God intended when He made the Earth 6,000 years ago. BTW - AIDS is a syndrome, HIV is a virus. Neither one is a "germ". World Health Organization, 1991: Three-fourths of the 8 million to 10 million adults around the world now infected with the virus that causes AIDS got it through heterosexual intercourse. "Act like you got some smart, now..." More to the point is that the topic title is political more than social. I prefer that a politician (Republican, Democrat or Other) be able to deliberate and change position based on constituents and new information than to march goose-step to what party leaders tell him.
